Hameed.

"Dadaa" Khairi whined "I hate this temple run, the monster keeps catching me, i dont wantuu play it anymoree" She said in a whining voice and passed me my phone clearly irked.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"What did i tell you about giving up honey? Never give up okay? I know my baby is a big girl, you can do it. I will teach you how to play it later, alright?" I grinned, stroking her long braids.

She nodded and grinned back.

Two minutes later, i realized fatima still wasn't back. It's been 10mins since she went out to get her phone in the car. I was getting a little anxious.

"Where's mummyy? Lets go back home" Khairi said shaking me with her tiny hands.

"I'm so tired too, lets wait for mummy a little more"

She nodded and went back to playing with her sneakers lace.

"Lets go and get mummy" I said after awhile, worriedly.

Khairi stood cheerfully and i held her hand before we walked outside straight to the parking lot.

As we neared the car, i noticed the door was opened. "Umm' khairi?" I called but she was not in there.

"Where are you?" I asked, my voice a little louder than before. There still wasn't an answer.

I looked around the lot, it was silent and the sun has already set. My heartbeat quickened, and i could not stop the gripping fear that overcame me.

"Dada where is mummy?" Khairi asked, tucking on my shirt.

"I'm searching for her" I answered then picked her up.

"Fatima if you're hiding you better stop this game and come out" I frowned "Its not a joke, i swear its not funny"

There was no reply. There was no fatima.

I quickly brought my phone out of my pocket and dialed her number. I heard the ringtone and my eyes averted to where the sound was coming from.

It was laying carelessly on the interlocks and right beside it laid the car keys too.

"What the hell is happening?" I asked no one particularly, my heart beating insanely against my ribcage.

There was only one thing.... one thing.

"La hawla wala quwwata illah billah, this can't be happening" I uttered, running my hand down my face.

With a quaky hand, i dialed abbu's number and waited for him to speak. I was sure khairi can feel my wild heartbeats.

"Salamu alaikum baba" Abbu's voice came from the other end.

"Wa alaikumussalam Abbu" I replied in a shaky voice "They have kidnapped her"

"Kidnap? Who? They?" He asked, worry lacing his voice.

"Fatima!" I pronounced.

"Innalillahi wa innailaihiraji'un, are you sure? When did that happen? how did that happen?" He asked in one breath.
