"Stop! Don't do it! Help!" I heard a boy scream from down an alley. I rushed over and peaked around the corner. A little girl stood there with the boy.
"But I'm so hungry. I need it. Please? I don't need all of your blood. Just a little bit. Please?" She begged. The boy shook his head and ran passed the girl.
"Wait! Please don't go?!" She sobbed.
I watched her for a little bit. I felt my heart sink in my chest as she fell to her knees. She was just hungry. She wasn't dangerous. She was desperate.
I slowly left my hiding place and walked towards her. She jumped when she saw me. Her eyes lit up with hope.
"Can you help me? I'm so tired and hungry. Can you feed me?" She asked as I kneel down in front of her.
"I can. But not from my neck. I have some blood bags at home. Come with me and you can have as many as you want," I said.
She froze. Her eyes scanned me as if she was looking for something. I reached my hand out to be friendly. She pulled away.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Your a monster hunter aren't you?" She asked coldly.
I nodded.
"Then why are you helping me?!" She demanded.
"Cuz I'm a witch and I was..." I paused before I said something I'd regret. She scowled at me. I couldn't tell if she was mad at the fact I'm a witch. Or the fact I stopped midway through my sentence.
"What did they do to you?" The little Vampire asked.
