"Cuz I'm a witch and I was..." I paused before I said something I'd regret. She scowled at me. I couldn't tell if she was mad at the fact I'm a witch. Or the fact I stopped midway through my sentence.
"What did they do to you?" The little Vampire asked.
"My family abandoned me when I was 6 years old," I said.
"You were abandoned?!" She cried.
"Yah," I said with a sigh. The little Vampire rushed over and hugged me.
"Woah! Why are you hugging me?!" I cried.
"Because no one deserves that," she said sadly.
