Natsu slammed his alarm off on his phone, almost tempting to throw it across the room.

Instead of throwing his phone, he grabbed a protein bar that sat on his nightstand next to him and hurled it at the light switch. It successfully flipped on with his bedroom lights blinding him for a few seconds.

His vision quickly adjusted to the lighting, leading towards laying on his back to scroll through his phone. Natsu boringly played through people's stories on Snapchat, replying for good morning streaks.

He might've replayed Gray's story more than once after seeing the raven-haired male take a selfie with the blonde he was intrigued by.

"That bastard..." Natsu skipped to Instagram, his eyes bulging at one of the top notifications.

So she did notice his advance a few days ago, thus, following by liking his recent picture.

No big deal, he was just completely shirtless with the sunset in the background, his tanned skin glowing for the gods. His ripped abs and muscles were clearly defined in each crook and cranny of his toned body.

Natsu jumped eagerly out of bed to get to his workout faster than any other day. Not even Lisanna could've gotten his butt out of bed that fast.

"You still owe me for barging in." Gray reminded him before he left.

Natsu waved him off, a sly grin on his face. "Whatever, princess."

He eagerly strode to the café, hoping to see the blonde working another morning shift at the barista area. Seeing her was only half of it, the coffees she made were heavenly that satisfied his tastebuds with every sip.

He glided through the double doors to see Juvia at the front desk.

"Good morning, Natsu!" Juvia waved.

"Mornin'," Natsu replied, waving a hand before taking a sharp left.

There she was, happily finishing another coffee for another customer with the same satisfaction as him to down the drink. Her hair was up in it's normal messy bun, swept bangs framing her face.

He smiled as he approached the counter, her brown eyes glimmering into his.

"Aloha kakahiaka, Natsu." Lucy reached for a grande sized cup, automatically scribbling the memorized order that stuck to her mind. "Usual?"

"You already know me too well," Natsu joked, his fingers fiddling with a random pen on the counter.

He glanced at her again to find she was already looking at him, his goofy grin only growing.

She turned around to start on his drink, unaware of his emerald eyes scanning her.

"So," Natsu casually started, hoping to somehow bring up Friday's fight without being too blunt. "You're watching Gajeel's fight on Friday, right?"

"Yup," She replied without turning around, mainly focused on her job.

Natsu nodded his head, talking his fingers anxiously against the cool countertop. "His fight's at five that night, but um.." he trailed off, a light pink flourishing from the bridge of his nose outwards. "I don't know if you're like, or if you stay up later--"
