Stiles' point of view

I was running through the woods, faster than ever before. But still, I was too slow. Why did I have to be the weakest one, the human? I was literally running for my life, there were some hunters after me. They all knew I was human, I was the easy target. They wanted to get information of my pack, but they didn't know I would never tell them anything, I would rather die. I could never betray Scott, Malia, Liam, Isaac... and Derek.

Derek, the sourwolf, the alpha of our pack. I had liked him for ages, ever since the night we spent in the pool, because of the kanima accident. Being so damn close to him, oh, it was heaven to me, even though I had to help him while he was paralyzed. I never told anyone how I felt about him, I was only the hyperactive spaz they had to look after, why would anyone like me? Especially Derek, with his amazing abs, back muscles... well, I got off the topic!

I hid behind I tree, my feet were killing me. I wasn't in a good shape, even though I played lacrosse at Beacon Hills High team. But well, what do you expect, the couch made me sit on a bench through every game, that was my role. I heard footsteps and saw them run past the tree.

Now there was a chance to call help. So I dialed the one who would always answer, the sourwolf. And as I already knew, he answered almost immediately.

"Derek. Help me. Hunters" I said, still exhausted and panicking. He knew I would never be kidding about things like this, and I never ever called him by his first name. He was always Der or sourwolf for me.

"Stiles, where are you?" he almost shouted to the phone, sounding so worried. I always got in trouble, but I always had my pack next to me, I was never alone. But now I was. I was so stupid, going for a walk in the middle of the night.

Then I heard it. Voices, now so much closer than before. The hunters were coming back. But I couldn't run, couldn't move, couldn't talk, even whisper. I was like paralyzed. Derek's voice was still on the line, he was screaming. I could hear the panic in him.

"Well, look who is here. The boy who runs with wolves. Or should I say, ran." I heard while someone was pointing a flashlight to my face. Before I had time to react, I felt a hard piece of metal hitting to the back of my head and everything went dark. The last thing I heard, was Derek's voice, "I will find you".
