I paced around the hallway, chewing my nails as I waited for Dr. Martin come out of Quinton's room. Alaina kept trying to calm me down but it wasn't working. I just kept pushing her hands away every time she tried to touch me. I wasn't trying to be a bitch.
"Gravity. Baby. He'll be okay." Charlie said as he watched me. I didn't care what they had to say at the moment. Then amount of pain I was feeling in my chest was enough to tell me that Q was in 10x more pain and that killed me. The door clicked open and Martin walked out. He looked at me and sighed as a smile made its way on his face.
"He's fine. Although he wouldn't be if it wasn't for the shirt and the dirt." He said. I sighed in relief and he chuckled. "Apparently he heard something while walking perimeter and turned to look. He ended up slipping and cutting his leg on a really sharp rock."
"Fucking clumsy asshole." I mumbled. He chuckled again and nodded his head. "Scared the Shit out of me. I'm going to kill him."
"You're a very smart girl Gravity. Seeing your mate in that condition and thinking as fast as you did saved him from losing too much blood. You can go see him." I thanked him and walked in the room. Q and Laken turned to look at me and I glared.
"Babe-"
"You scared the fucking shit out of me you goddamn idiot." I said. Laken had an amused smile on his face and he leaned back in his chair just watching.
"Babe-"
"I am going to fucking kill you Quinton." I said before sighing and making my way over to him.
"I'm sorry." He said, looking up at me. I nodded my head, sighing again. I climbed next to him in the bed and sat down. "You saved my life though."
"That's because I'm good in high pressure situations." I mumbled, hearing him and Laken laugh. "When you're better in going to kick your fucking ass."
"I believe you." He said as he shifted so his head was on my shoulder.
"So I know this might not be the best time but Zach said that you talked to Wesley." Laken said. I looked over at him and nodded.
"He said that the reason he felt he needed to be here is because his mom works at that old floral shop right outside of town. Said that he was angry because he thought she was dead and she didn't try to find him."
"Wow okay." Laken said with a nod. "And you believed that?"
"Yes. He was really worked up about it and I saw it in his eyes." I said.
"You're not allowed to look into anybody's eyes but mine." Quinton mumbled as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him. I snorted and Laken let out a laugh.
"Jealous idiot." Laken said as he rolled his eyes. "Well since you're okay, I have some news."
"Alaina's pregnant." I said. Laken's eyes widened before he furrowed his eyebrows.
"She already told you?" He asked, bewildered. My eyes widened and Q started laughing.
"I was just fucking around Laken! Are you serious! Is she really pregnant?!"
"Yeah." He said with a smile on his face.
"Oh my god I'm going to be an aunt!" I cheered. I slapped Quinton's chest repeatedly, making him laugh and grab my hand. "Quinton I'm going to be an aunt!"
"I know baby." He said. "Congratulations Laken."
"I'm so excited." He said, clapping his hands. I let out a laugh and he realized his actions, getting red. "No one knows I did that."
"People will know by tomorrow." Quinton said, eyeing me. Laken sighed before he shrugged.
"I know." He got up and walked out, closing the door behind him.

"Alaina!" I shrieked. I heard her laugh and I ran to where I heard her voice. "You didn't fucking tell me!"
"Surprise!" She said. I laughed and wrapped my arms around her.
"I'm so happy for you guys! Oh my god! You have no idea! I'm going to be an amazing aunt! I'm going to spoil the Shit out of your kid! I'll buy it whatever the hell it wants and I will never say to no to it! I'm going to be the one they come to when they're mad at you-"
"Gravity." Laken said with a laugh. "We get it. It's going to like you more than us."
"You bet your ass it is." I said. Alaina laughed again and I let go of her before jumping onto Laken. "And I thought that all this time you were shooting blanks." Everyone in the room started laughing at that and Alaina giggled from beside me.
"Gravity what the fuck." Laken mumbled, pulling away from me.
"Actually. There are two of them." Alaina said. I shrieked again and giggled as I pulled them into a group hug. "Yay yay yay."
"Laken has a magic dick." Andrew said.
"You shut your mouth! You don't get to say things like that." Laken said. Andrew threw his hands up in defense as he tried not to laugh.
"Yeah. Only I get to talk to Laken like that." I said.
"No. No one gets to talk to their alpha like that." Laken said.
"Shut up yes I do." I said, waving him off. He rolled his eyes at me.
"Only Gravity can talk to me like that." He said.
"We know." Everyone chorused together. He glared around the room before sighing and walking away. The front door opened and Wesley walked in. He smiled at everyone before walking toward the library.
"Why is this the second time I've seen him in my life?"
"He hangs out in the library all day." I said with a shrug.
"Oh well that would be why." She said with a giggle.
