Jayden's POV
____________________________________As I got out of the car, I looked twords the Manion and standing in the entryway was none other than Tamaki Suoh. When he seen me looking at him, he ran over and started spinning me yelling "I HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER, I HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER!!!".
"Can't. Breath." I said quietly. He I will re set me down and started yelling about his 'new little brother' again. I just stood there staring at him. 'What and idiot' I thought. The CPS worker came up behind me and handed me my bag. "Shall we go inside?" He said. Tamaki nodded his head quickly and went to grab my hand to lead me inside. I flinched and backed away, not comfortable with the contact and scared he would hurt me.
'What if he's like the others and hurts me? What if I get punished like at the other places? What if they don't want me?' I started to panic, and Tamaki must have noticed because he knelt down to my level and slowly reached out to put his hands on my cheeks. As he held my face gently in his hands he looked I to my eyes and said "I will never let anyone hurt you nor will I ever hurt you, I promise with me here your safe, so let's go meet everyone, some of my friends wanted to come say hi and meet you, and I know that Dad is excited to meet you to. I'll be right here next to you and I promise no one will hurt you, if you feel uncomfortable just let me know and I'll take you to your room, okay?" I nodded and began to calm down. I felt at ease with him and for some reason I trusted him. He stood back up and offered me his hand. I took it and he pulled into the house. When we got to the living room, I looked around and saw a lot of people staring at me. I hid behind Tamaki and tightened my grip on his hand. He looked back and smiled comfortingly. He looked back at every one and intoduced me. "Guys this is the news Suoh, his name is Jayden and he's kinda shy and timid, so please be kind to him." He said as he gestured to me still hiding behind him. "Jayden come and meet everyone I promise they won't hurt you okay?" He said. I took a small step out from behind him and saw everyone looking at me curiously. "Jayden this is the host club, guys please introduce yourselves." He said. A guy with glasses and black hair stepped forward. "Hello Jayden, my name is Kyoya, and it's a pleasure to meet you." He said in a cold voice. I ran back behind Tamaki and put my face in his back. "Nice job Kyoya, you scared him." Tamaki said. I peeked out from behind him and saw that Kyoya had an embarrassed look on his face. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He said softly. I nodded and he gave a small smile. Then a kid that looked around nine or ten came up to me and smiled. "Hello my name is Mitskuni Haninozuka, and this is Takashi Morinozuka, but you can call us Honey and Mori, we won't hurt you but we'll hurt anyone who tries to, right Takashi?" Honey said looking up at Mori. "Yeah." He said. I nodded again and a girl with short hair cane up and reached out her hand, and I jumped back, thinking she was going to hit me. She froze, surprised but put her hand down. "Sorry, I wasn't going to hit you I just wanted to shake your hand." She said. I nodded understanding, and put my hand out slowly. She smiled and shook it carefully. "Hi, my name is Haruhi, it's nice to meet you." She said smiling. I tried to smile back but couldn't. I started to tear up and went to hide behind Tamaki again. "What's wrong?" He asked as he bent down to look at me on the same level. "I can't smile back." I whisperd. His face went from concerned to a sad one as he opened his arms for a hug. I hesitated for a second but then nodded and he leaned forward and wrapped his arms around me. For once I felt safe and warm. My eyes started to feel heavy as the lack of sleep got to me. I fell asleep listening to my new brothers heart beat and my last thought was that it might not be so bad here.

____________________________________When I realized that Jayden had fallen asleep I smiled and picked him up and carried home over to the couch and sat down, him in my lap. I pet his hair and everyone started asking why he was crying. "Because he tried to smile back." I said. "What do you mean tama-chan?" Honey asked. "Well it seams that he has forgotten how to smile." I said looking down at the sleeping boy in my arms. "Guys we need to show him how to smile again." I said. They nodded and sat down around us. "Why is he so comfortable with you?" Honey asked. "Well I told him that I would never hurt him to allow anyone else to, then told him he'd be okay here. I guess what I said really got to him." I said looking down at him and smiling. My dad who had been talking to the CPS worker, left the room and came back with a blanket. He walked over and draped it over him. I smiled and hugged him closer. "He will be starting school on Monday, he has all your classes and will be joining your club, so because of his past you are not to leave his side." My father said sternly. I nodded and smiled. He left after saying that he wanted to meet him when he woke up. The CPS worker walked over and set Jayden's things down then told me what to and not to do. He said that Jayden was scared of loud noises, raised hands, water, any type of knife, and beds. He said not to talk to him about things he liked or disliked when it came to food saying that he couldn't taste well. He said not to take him places where he couldn't see and to make sure he eats, also to not let him near sharp objects. I nodded and he left. After he was gone and everyone left for the night I decided it was time for bed so I carried him upstairs and to his room. When I tried to lay him on the bed he refused to let go. Then I remembered what the CPS worker had said and took about twenty blankets and made a neat thing on the floor. When I tried to lay him on it he still wouldn't let go so I lay down next to him. He imediatlly curled into my chest and relaxed more. I smiled and put my arm around him thinking of how great it was going to be to have a little brother. I fell asleep there and dreamt about all the fun we were going to have.
