I stare down at the note. Why would Toby want to hang out with me at lunchwhen I hang out with him and the rest of the gang every lunchtime anyway? I sribbled down a reply on the back of the paper, folded it up and passed it back behind me to Toby

Things are getting weird. I have to tell Emma about this AND Alex. Lissa and Hana would just blab so Em is the one to tell. Emma is the oddone out in our group. Although she is really pretty, she doesnt make use of her looks and goes around in hideous clothes and is he biggest nerd I know. But she is my best freind and I trust her so yea. I yawned and opened my textbook because our teacher Mr Shaw has started the lesson.

As soon as the bell goes for our morning break I race out the door  to the girls toilets before Toby can catch up to me to talk. When im in the safety of a cubicle I pull out my phone and call Emma.

E= emma S= me

E- hey Savvy whats up?

S= hey um wanna meet in the library? I got something to tell you about

E= Yea sure, where are you?

S= girls toilets. Dont even as...

I was cut short all of a sudden because I heard people entering the bathroom. "ugh did you hear the rumour about Alex and Savvynera?" Ashleighee. "No? What was Savvy doing with Alex anyway? Thats not like her, I mean shes nice to everyone and she of all people knows you like Alex," Lissa!! what was Lissa doing? She told me that she was going to hockey practice at lunch; is she even on the team?

E= OMG is that Ashleighee and Lissa?!?!? did they just say that?

S= shhhh! listen!

"Apparently Toby saw them in the car outside Savvyneras house kissing," Rosa; ugh even the sound of her voice annoys me.

E= What!?!

S= I have to get outta here! Em i think im gonna.."

I never finished that sentence. All of a sudden my phone was on the bathroom floor and Emmas voice was a distant screeching through the phone. I puked but luckily I was facing the toilet and managed to keep myself absouloutly spotless. "EW somebody puked lets gt out of here!" Ashleighee squeeled. I heard the run out then somebody cautiously tiptoe in. "Savvynera?" I heard Emmas quiet voice whisper. I opened the door so she could see me and she gave me a big hug. "Okay you smell" she giggled as she opened her bag and pulled out a Paris Hilton fragrance and sprayed me all over. "Thanks, i think" I coughed through the thick mist now surrounding our heads. " Now to the library we dont have much time"
