drunk of work

The days went by, and Yoonji kept leaving the house.

"You going out, again?" Questioned Yoongi although he knew the answer.
"Jackpot." Grumbled Yoonji as she plugged in the earphones to her phone.

"What are you doing outside anyways? Shouldn't you be studying?"

"I am studying." She replied dryly, leaving the house.

"Weirdo."

"Yoonji-ah! Do you need help studying?" Smiled Taehyung as he walked up beside the boy.

"Tsk, no."

Taehyung only nodded awkwardly, walking ahead.

"Hey." Smirked Jungkook as he walked closely.
"Bye." Yoongi smirked as he tried to walk away, but this boy never gives up does he?

"Sassy, I like it." Laughed the other male as he catched up again.

Suddenly the rest of the group showed up, surrounding the elder one. "Now what?" Spat Yoongi as he was getting irritated.

"Uhh... Why do you keep going out Yoonji-ah? We are a bit concerned since we always see you trying to get into bars and always staying at the rooftops." Mumbled Seokjin as he looked down.

"I what?" Yoongi suddenly felt more interested in the conversation.

"You heard him, why are you not studying?" Spat Jimin rather annoyed. "I-i.... Uhh mm.. Nothing." Yoongi mentally facepalmed himself for stuttering. So believeable.

They just nodded and left.

He sighed as he also headed home. Recently the atmosphere between them had become awkward. He was too used to them being annoying and him being snappy, but now... it just wasn't the same.
He entered his home, looking for Yoonji. The elder boy decided to wait for her to speak first, but she never came down from her room.

"Yoonji?"

"What?!"

"Are you going out today also?"

"Yes! Now leave me alone, I'm studying."

Silence.

"Ugh.. Whatever." He then jumped on the couch, closing his eyes.
Just a little rest, nothing more.

As he were about to doze off, footsteps were heard.

Yoonji tried to sneak out, thinking she succeded since the boy was still asleep. Or so she thought.

Yoonji's lips shivered as she walked down the cold streets.
Her mind was a mess, and the homework gave her a headache.

She was doomed, she is done for it.
"Ugh! I am going to fail this semester! I won't be able to go to collage or get a job!" She whined, spilling her feelings to the street.

Why wasn't she born smarter? Yoongi was a lucky guy, seeing that he managed to actually understand the work.

Again, she tried getting into a bar, but failed.

"Ma'am, I need to see your ID." Said the built man.
"Don't worry, I am not underage.." she sheeplesly smiled, trying hard to convince him.
"I need to see your ID." He said coldly. Geez, what a party pooper.
"I forgot it at home."

"Then you won't get it I'm sorry. Next!"

Yoonji sighed as she walked away. The feeling of someone following her made the air even colder. She kept her guard up, listening closely.

Her legs suddenly started sprinting, heading towards her most visited place recently. The rooftop.
Her hearing could no longer hear another presence, so she let out a breath of relief.

The cold night breeze flew through her hair as she looked over the city. A smiled formed on her lips.

"Yoonji?" A voice spoke up, making her startled.

"Y-yoongi?" She looked at her older brother, eyes widened.
"What are you doing here?"

"I think that is my sentence." Chuckled the boy as he sat down beside her.

The silence fell upon them.

"So.... Why are you doing this Yoonji-ah? I saw everything."
"I... It's..." Yoonji struggled, her reason was stupid.
"Tell me." Yoongi held his arm around her shoulder in a brotherly way, trying to soothe her.

"It's just that.... that I will fail this semester. The work is too hard for me, so I feel depressed about not being able to go to collage and get a job!" She cried out, feeling numb.

"Yah you idiot! Is this why you wanted me to do your work?" Yoongi chuckled as he slapped her head.

She only nodded, feeling tired. She really did try her best, but it wasn't enough.
"Alright, I'll do it..."

"But on one condition."

"What?"

"Give me a foot massage." Yoongi laughed evilly as he watched his sisters expression.

"No way!" Shrieked Yoonji as she pushed his arm away along with the boy.

"Just kidding... But you have to tell them the truth."

".....yeah.. I will."
