stars, night & laughter
________________________________Stars painted the sky, giving a contrast to the dark color.
Less people were around at this hour, seeing as they were mostly inside different buildings.
Sighing, Hoseok walked on the sidewalk."Argh... Why is he like this?" He mumbled to himself, looking at his shoes while walking.
The once white shoes started getting a darker shade of cream, almost brown.
Hoseok lifted his slim face, looking around, an habit he had. Some female was walking down the street, looking towards him.
The male turned around, confused to her stare. Was there anyone behind him?
No one.
Hoseok returned his gaze to her, trying to make out her features in the dark. Unluckily she was standing where the light didnt quite reach. Groaning slightly, he felt creeped out.
The woman was just standing there, still. Almost like those black long haired girls in horror movies. The only thing missing was the white gown. Well, that was the only thing he saw from that horror movie. Hoseok had never been the type to watch them in general.
The presence continued walking, making him even more curious. Finally, one leg stepped out from the shadows, showing a slim leg with some shoes on. Her socks were long, paired up with dark shorts.
Soon enough the females full body came to view, making the poor boy choke on his spit.Yoonji.
"U-uh..." he mumbled, embarrassed. Why did he look at her either way? He must've looked like a freak.
"Uh... Hello.." she awkwardly smiled, wanting to emerge in the ground."I- I'm sorry. Didn't mean to stare. Y-you just looked creepy standing there.. Or- I mean not ugly, but-"
"Hoseok, it's fine. I understand." Yoonji chuckled, feeling a bit better.
"So where is the rest of your gang? I mean you guys are barely apart."
"Ugh.. I- they just stayed at home.. I mean their home. Yeah." Hoseok scratched his back, feeling idiotic.
"Mhm.. Well, wait. Why are you talking to me?" Her eyes widened, looking at him suspiciously."Uhh.. I... Dont... Know.. Actually." He breathed out, fresh mint filling the air he let out.
"Okay then... Well I need to get going. The store is closing up soon." Yoonji nodded before walking.
"Wait!" His voice trailed behind."What?"
"Can I join?"
"You, join me? I think you are sick.. Did you hurt your head or something?" Concern filled her voice, weirded out by his actions.
"No I'm fine." He laughed, stepping closer."I-if you want, I guess."

Just like the silent night, they walked in same quietness.
"Are those heavy?" Suddenly his voice broke the silence, looking at her bags."A-ah.. It's fin-"
Yoonji was cut off as Hoseok grabbed one, smiling.
"May I ask why you are so nice towards me all of a sudden?"
"Huh? I- I just thought that you deserved another chance. You know, I kind of miss the old days when we all hung out." The boy sighed, watching the beautiful sky."Tsk, dont be so dramatic. This isn't a movie." Yoonji laughed, as the boy pretended to be an actor.
"Alright." Hoseok laughed, feeling slightly better after being thrown away by his bestfriend.
