Y/N's POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

As soon as I heard the noise from my alarm I knew that today was the day that my brother Yuuri was coming home after five long years in Detroit, and I had to go pick him up from the station later in the day. It had been too long since I've seen him in person and to be honest I was over the moon with happiness.

*°*°*

I had arrived at the station a little later than I had expected, so I had to rush to where Yuuri would be at. It wasn't long before I saw him walking towards me. When I did, a bright smile plastered across my face. I started bouncing up and down with excitement. Once he crossed the little barrier like thing I ran up to him and pulled him into a hug.

I could barely comprehend that this was actually happening. After almost five whole years, I was finally seeing my brother in person again. My emotions overwhelmed me as I felt some tears slip down my face before I pulled away from the hug. Once I did, I put on another smile and wiped the few tears from my face.

"You fucker," I joked, "I've missed you." I gave him a light punch on the shoulder.

"Sorry about not visiting," Yuuri said sheepishly

I rolled my eyes playfully before responding. "It's whatever, I'm just glad to have my brother back."

"Are you still having those nightmares?" He asked once we were out of the station.

"Yeah, but they're less frequent now."

"That's good! Did that happen on its own or did you start doing something different?"

"I uh, actually started watching some of Victor's skating videos before bed," I nervously admitted.

"Of course," Yuuri laughed, "you're just as bad as me."

"Oh shut it."

"I'm home and I have my little skater brother with me!" I called out.

I heard rushed footsteps before my adoptive mom appeared before us. "Y/N! Thank you for picking Yuuri up from the station!"

"Anytime mom. I'm glad to have this one back," I ruffled Yuuri's hair with my hand.

"Of course you are, you two have always been really close." Our mom's statement caused Yuuri to embarrassingly look down at the ground while I just smiled.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have art commissions to work on." I announced before walking to my room.

*°*°*

I had just finished up one of the commissions I was working on and decided to check my phone. When I did I saw a YouTube notification that read 'Recommended for you: Yuuri Katsuki tries to skate Victor Nikiforov's program'. My eyes widened and I quickly tapped on it.

When the video pulled up I saw that it was in fact my brother skating Victor's routine. My jaw practically dropped at how on point it was. And the fact that he didn't even fall once. When the video was over I stood up from my desk and pretty much sprinted to Yuuri's room to see if he was there. When I opened the door I saw that he was asleep on his bed. I let out a sigh and decided to let him sleep.

So I shut his door and walked back to my room. Once I was in my room, I got ready for bed. When I was ready I turned the lights off, and went to sleep.

*°*°*

I had originally planned on sleeping in today but my mom knocked on my door. She told me to go help shovel since it ended up snow storming last night. I heard her footsteps get quieter as she walked down the hall, most likely to tell Yuuri the same thing. I sat up in bed and rubbed the sleepiness from my eyes. I sat there for maybe a minute or two longer before getting up and stretching.

I walked over to my dresser to pick out my clothes for the day. I first got a clean underwear, then I picked out a pair of white, ripped jeans and a pair of black fishnet leggings to go underneath the jeans. Afterwards, I walked over to my closet and picked out a green, slightly over-sized hoodie with a black turtleneck underneath.

Once I was changed into the clothes I just picked out I put on a silver necklace with a clear crystal on it. Now that I was all ready, I grabbed my F/C winter jacket off a hook on the back of my door, and left my room, shutting the door behind me.

I walked to the front door to see Yuuri was there as well, holding a shovel. I slipped my jacket on, along with my red high-tops. I then remembered that I forgot to grab a shovel, so I left to get one. When I came back I saw Yuuri was on the ground and there was a brown poodle on top of him. I stood there frozen with confusion because of how much the dog resembled our old family dog. Victor, which Yuuri had named after Victor Nikiforov.

I thought I was in shock before, but then our dad described the person who the dog belonged to. Yuuri got up and ran to the mens hot spring. I was about to go after him but I realized how awkward that would be to go in there while people are bathing. What I did instead, was do what I had been told to do, go out and shovel.

It didn't take as long as I had expected, but it still took a while. It would have gone faster with Yuuri helping, but he never came outside after he ran off. Knowing him he probably just forgot so I brushed off.

I then returned inside and took of my coat and shoes. I put away the shovel and went back to my room to put my coat away. Once that was done I decided to look for Yuuri. I looked in his room first only to find that he wasn't there. Stopping to think for a moment, I decided to look for him downstairs. It took a minute or two for me to find him, when I did, he wasn't alone.

"Victor!?" I was stunned, it was really him.

Victor turned to me with a curious glance. "Hmm, you seem really familiar, are you perhaps Y/N?"

"Yeah! Why didn't you tell me you were gonna be here!?"

"Simple, because I didn't know that you were here." A smile made its way to Victor's face as he stood up and gave me a hug.

"Wait, since when did you two know each other?" Yuuri finally spoke up, now in shock that his own sibling was friends with Victor.

"We started talking about a month ago after Victor saw a drawing I had done of him for a commission," I said pulling away from the hug.

"Why didn't you tell me!?"

"I didn't want any possible rumors to spread, so I just kept it to myself." After finishing my statement I shrugged my shoulders.

Yuuri let out a sigh before responding. "Yeah, I guess that makes sense." I nodded and turned my attention back to Victor.

"So, why are you here anyways?" I questioned the Russian skater that stood before me.

"So that I can be Yuuri's coach."

I blinked my eyes a few times in disbelief. "WHAT!?"
