(Poem): one to ten

One foot, on the floor
One hand, to close the door
One neck, to give a slit
One life? Who gives a shit

Two people, a couple so true
Two mouths, to say I love you
Two eyes, two see the unspoken
Two ears, to hear the broken

Three pages, many letters for you to see
Three hearts, how could this be?
Three words, never were ment for me
Three stories, one never heard by thee

Four arms, to hold each other
Four emotions, stay away and never bother
Four words, I'm here for you
Four meanings, but could it be true?

Five days, the sadness went by
Five times, surely you had to lie
Five lies, the things you told
Five truths, the pain is so cold

Six ways, to some it's a trick
Six problems, to others it is sick
Six solutions, something we should know
Six senses, don't we learn and grow?

Seven eleven, the times you're awake
Seven lights, to warn the times of earthquake
Seven days, the times of a week
Seven night, the time I weep

Eight love, now we're gonna bet
Eight clocks, now we're in debt
Eight shoes, each belonging to a pair
Eight months, each with less to care

Nine tales, to each story could belong
Nine muses, each having a song
Nine numbers, the greatest of them all
Nine personalities, to which all shall fall

Ten friends, plenty but few
Ten enemies, they're the same, who knew?
Ten grades, to which we learned
Ten hates, to where death is earned
