TWO days had passed since that incident. Two days I didn't go to school, two days and I survived but that's probably it. I might be making it more dramatic than it actually is, but there's no escaping the fact that I'm in actual serious trouble.
Apparently it didn't last longer as I expected. Yesterday I got a call from coach Harvey about how he'd happily give me a F in gym and all other subjects if I didn't make it to school today. Why can't he understand the situation I'm in? It's life or death.
So unwillingly, I had to get dressed for school. And guess who I had my first period with, Caleb gonna-kill-me Wilson? Bingo!
My life is driving me insane, literally.
As I made my way into my car, I was super nervous and sweaty and that made things worse. By the time I reached school, people had already started calling me 'fishy goo' or 'sweaty'.
I guess that 'super nerd' isn't going to come in use for a while. This time none of the hate got to me, as I had other things I was more worried about. Things much much worse.
Before entering the classroom, I peeked into the class looking for signs of Caleb and rejoiced when I found him nowhere.
"Look at that, it's Alexis Rein. Sorry I mean Sweaty-Rein!" a familiar voice giggled from behind.
I didn't need to turn around to know it was her.
"Beatrice. I see you haven't lost your bitchy ways yet." I walked past her, ignoring her annoying presence.
Beatrice Trise was one of the people I hated the most. Mainly because she was my best friend a few years ago before trying to get me drunk enough to sleep with this guy who was after me, Tyler Bloom after he payed her to do it. When I confronted her, she got all embarrassed and decided that she was going to torture me in every chance she gets. I can't believe I even trusted her.
"What did you just call me?" Her face turned red.
"What you heard me."
"listen sl-"
"is there a problem here?" our homeroom teacher, Mr Boyle interrupted her.
She stared at me before moving back to her seat, "no sir, i was just about to sit here."
"i don't want any delays, Miss Trise."
"there isn't any Mr Boyle."
"good-" he turned to the rest of the class. "now I'll begin taking the attendance." and continued.
As I was taking out my book, a piece of crumpled paper was thrown in my head. I picked it up while opening it. 'I'm gonna get you for what you did, just you wait bitch.' was written in it. I didn't have to think much of who wrote it as there was only one person who loved doing stunts like this.
I turned to Beatrice and muttered, "come get me."
And though the rest of the period, Caleb Wilson never showed up, even in my mind.

Apparently the time I wasted worrying about what Caleb was going to do with me, turned out to be for nothing. I didn't see him all day nor did he come and I quote, 'tear me into pieces.' at all.
