Sharley actually went through with it this time, she ran away. She didn't know where she was going and she only had the 3,000 dollars that she got in her birthday cards. Sharley wasn't nervous at all she was just glad to get out of the house, she was glad to be gone and stay gone. Sharley called her friend Alexis and she didn't pick up, she called three more times but then she realized it was four in the morning. When she got to Alexis' house she got the spare key that was taped under the stair railing and opened the door. She quietly went into Alexis' room without waking the rest of the family.

"Alexis, wake up!" she whisper yelled.

Alexis turned over and covered her mouth from yelling . "What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I ran away and I need a place to stay, I really need your help." Sharley said anxiously.

"Okay. I know a friend, she can give you a place to stay until you can get on your feet and plus you are almost 18 so you don't have to worry about the police." Alexis wrote the girl's name and where to go.

" Thanks so so much, I'll text you when I get there." Sharley gave her friend a hug and left the room.

Sharley went outside locked the door and put the key back under the railing. She looked at the Post-It note and put the address in her phone, after about and hour of travelling she got to the house. Sharley began to get anxious, nervous, happy, scared, all at the same time, she stepped forward and rang the bell after what felt like hours to her someone opened the door. On the other side of the door was a boy, he had a Tommy Hilfiger shirt and ripped jeans on, Sharley was confused.

"I think your looking for Bianca, hold on I'll get her, you can come in." He said nicely.

Sharley was nervous now, she walked in and sat on the couch and she couldn't even relax, she didn't let her back touch the couch. Her leg was shaking and she was beginning to breath fast, " You don't have to be nervous, we don't bite." a woman voice said.

Sharley looked up slowly and she saw a medium toned woman with her brown hair in a messy bun with pink pajama pants and a white tank top.

"Hey, my name is Bianca, don't be scared it's common to feel that way but I'll help you through it."  She said with a tired smile. "Alright, it's really early in the morning and it's going take long to explain everything right now, I'll just show you your room for right now."

They both walked down a hallway and turned to the right and there was a room with the number four on it, "Thank You so much I'll see you in the morning." Sharley said then giving her a hug.

"Here are your keys, you got two don't loose then, I'm going to bed goodnight." Bianca said then walking upstairs to her room.

Sharley took her backpack off her back and places the dufflebag on the floor , she plopped down on her bed and began scrolling through her phone. Once she grew tired of scrolling, she put it on the charger and went fast asleep. The next morning Sharley was woken up abruptly by her vibrating and ringing phone, she saw calls and messages from her friends and family.

Sharley blocked all of the numbers and before she could finish Bianca walked in, "Oh no we can't have you talking to outside people that can get us busted, meet me in the living room whenever you are ready so we can review some things." Sharley cleaned herself up and went to back out to the living room.

"So here is how this is going to go I'm going to give you a new phone a new number and I'm going to dispose of the one you have now. Next, the house rules, Number One keep your room clean, Number Two clean up after yourself, Number Three do not contact anyone that you knew before. Number Four enjoy yourself! We also have school but it starts at 12 pm and ends at 3 pm. So now that we got all of that out of the way, what color phone do you want?" Bianca said going out of the room and coming back with three colors.
