Your screams echoed in the small cage you had been placed in, your voice horsed from all your agonizing screams falling on deaf ears. It was so dark, you hated it so much, your lonely prison in which the "Master" only visited just to take blood samples and on occasions feed you - oh yes and lets not forget - tightening the chains that held you. Tight enough to hold you above the ground but not so as to cut off any circulation on your wrist or legs, they hurt. Some nights you wanted to cry but what was the point, who would hear you, who would comfort you? No one.
You were created to be a weapon, or so they told you. Always monitoring your every move, never letting you be alone, making you train till your bones ached just to sell you off. Their was a time before they broke and chained you that you almost reached freedom. That memory of your brief seconds in the sunny outside is what kept you going for a while. But now...
Who knows...who cares....no one, because you were born to be alone. You were just a lab experiment, a fighting machine for a man they called "Joker", you really didn't want to submit to this fate, this life they had bread you for, but at this rate you may as well do so. You had no family, no home, no voice their was nothing left to fuel your fighting spirit, no more reasons to try and fight back, no glimpse of hope.
It was so dark, you couldn't see anything, were your eyes open or close, was it cold, was it hot, you couldn't feel anything. You had been beaten, but even now it seemed as if your brain would not accept this lose. It made you hear whispers coming from outside, as if someone had come to rescue you, as if someone was their.
"But why?' you asked yourself, you knew no one was coming for you so why? Why were you still hoping? Why could you hear this whispers? They made you want to cry at how pathetic you were, to still hold on to something so stupid as hope.
And that's when it happened, the doors to your cage opened.
