Tessa's POV
I have been crying for the last 3 hours and have thrown up twice.
I can't believe they took Chance! He was just trying to protect me.
I stole the keys to my car from Jake because he said it's not safe for me to drive.
I drove and drove and drove till I got to the police station and I asked for Chance Sutton.
Tessa: hi *sniffle* I'm here for Chance Sutton.
Karen: you'll have to wait he is in this room but you can wait right outside the door till he comes out.
I walked down the hall to the room and waited.
I sat and listened to the conversation.
--THE CONVERSATION--- PO: police officer
PO: in New Jersey accent: you ain't gonna talk huh?
Chance: i..i.. have nothing to say to you. I just wanna see Tessa.
PO: oh you'll see her , JUST TELL US WHY YOU KNOCKED PUT OUR COP!
Chance: I THOUGHT YOU WERE TAKING AWAY TESSA OK!
PO: that's all you had to say but you still will be going to jail for this.
Then I heard Chance break down in tears.
I walked out to the front desk and I said
Tessa: is there anyway I could could pay you so you would let Chance go? PLEASE! I'm begging you.
Karen: yeaaaahhhbut its $30,000
I pulled out all the cards and money I had and gave it to her.
Karen: think about what your doing.
Tessa: I KNOW WHAT IM DOING!
And I gave her all my money.
They all of a sudden Jake and Anthony came in and Jake grabbed my arms while Anthony grabbed my keys and money as I screamed
Tessa: NO NO LET ME GO I NEED TO GET CHANCE
Jake: we need to go, Chance did the crime, now he needs to do the time.
Chance was being escorted to a car so they could go to jail.
Chance: what did you say Jake?
