Another thing from my Bloody_Golden_Sam account. This takes two years after Shamballa and Ed and Al found and hid the bomb.

Al looked out the window of the house.
It wasn't a big house, just big enough for two-three people to live there.
But it still wasn't Winry's house.
Ed didn't know, but Al really missed home, especially now that he got his memories of their journey back.
It took Al some time to get used to this side of the gate.
There were so many things he's never seen before.
Rockets was one of them.
The hardest part of it all, was getting used to living with Ed.
Ed was older than Al was used to. When he had last saw Ed, he was 16.
Now Ed was 20. A full grown adult.
It was weird, Ed wasn't the really immature teenager Al had known.
Ed had in fact, grown mature.
It wasn't til Ed had threatened to punish Al he realized how much he grew. (That's a completely different story right there)
After that incident with Ed, Al was a bit careful of what he did, as he knew Ed wouldn't hesitate much if he had too.
That day, Al had started to see his older brother in a new light.
Al chuckled as he thought about the time Ed had first started cooking.
Long story short, Ed nearly burned the house down.
"What'cha thinking about Al?" Ed asked as he sat down on the windowsill.
Al snapped out of his train of thought.
"Nothing really brother, just about the time you tried to cook." Al said, grinning.
Ed pouted. "Oh come on, it wasn't that bad!"
"Brother, you almost burned down the house!" Al exclaimed, starting to laugh.
Ed just huffed and said, "Whatever!"
It was quiet for a few minutes before Ed spoke up.
"Hey Alphonse, do you hate me?"
Al recoiled at those words.
"No, I could never hate you!"
Ed looked up. "Even after all the things I did to you?"
Al hugged Ed and shook his head no.
"Never Bother, never."
Ed hugged back and smiled.
