Ever since Joe got transferred life goes by very smoothly. I miss Zach but leaving with Joe was probably the best decision he's ever taken. And as for my mom ....well she's leaving too. Her job at the FBI has done more than enough harm for us. There's an endless list of all the reasons I hate her. Call me stupid but I hate my mom. And worst of all is that I still care about her. It all started the day I was born. born. Born. Why was I even born?      Sometimes I wished I hadn't . Or maybe if it had been at another time; in another family, everything would have been different. Rebbeca and I were born on a rainy night. Our first years were the best. Dad, mom, Jack, Rebbeca, and me. Just us. A happy family. Or something like that.

Most of the time Dad would be out on important business stuff. As one of the most prestigious migrant lawyers in the country it was expected of him to be out. And mom...well...her job at the FBI pretty much took all of her time. My siblings and I did just fine with the Nanny. We've had the same nanny since I can remember. So life was alright. But then out of nowhere life turned on us. One day mom came home from home to find us eating dinner with my dad who has just came back from Texas. And out of nowhere; without any warning she turned towards my dad and started screaming.

" Why!? 3 Fucking years of cheating! Why!?"

"What are you talking about!?" said my dad.

"You know what I'm talking about!"

And just like that, for the very first time in my life, I saw my mom ,the FBI agent; the one who is the strongest one when it comes to feelings, burst in tears as she says

"I want you to leave. And I want to get divorced".

And my dad without fighting back or anything left to their room and started packing up his stuff. At the time I didn't understand what was going on. But again, I was 10. Later years, our mom told us that my dad had cheated on her and that he had another daughter with another woman. That was the first event that changed out lives. Rebbeca and I were twins; but also best friends. Even Jack, our older brother, was one of our best friends. No secrets between us. And being so close siblings really helped each other each other through those harsh times. After that it was the same. Mom was always out and dad.....we didn't hear about him after the divorce. Years went by and when Rebbeca and I turned 12 it all went to hell.
