You woke up, energized. Today was going to be the day of your first date with Bakugou. After eating your breakfast, you walked out of the house. 'Today's going to be a good day!' On the way to school, you passed by Bakugou's house. You thought of knocking on the door to see if he wanted to walk with you, but you rejected the thought. He might still be sleeping. You were going to school early, so you didn't want to bother him. Continuing to walk to school, you heard the sound of running. "Y/N!! DON'T JUST PASS MY HOUSE LIKE THAT, BITCH-"

"Good morning, Bakugou. You seem grumpier than usual." You cut in, knowing that it would piss him off. "Do you need to eat a Snickers? I have some in my bag..." That seemed to irritate the hot-head. "What..? I DON'T WANT ANY FOOD FROM YOU!!" Smiling, you held your hand out. "Are we just going to stand here all day? Or are we actually going to walk to school?" He blushed a little, and grabbed your hand. "Let's go." Bakugou walked faster than you, pulling you forward. 'Aw, he looks so cute when he's nervous...'

Both of you walked through the school entrance, and everyone had their eyes on you. "Damn, is she together with him?" "I should've asked her out... She has nice boobs-" Bakugou punched the boy who made the comment. When you walked closer to the boy, you saw that it was none other than Kaminari Denki. 'That pervert...' You lightly tapped the ash-blonde on the shoulder. "Let's just go to class-"

"Yeah, okay." Bakugou grabbed your hand and began walking quickly to the classroom. "Katsuki, you don't have to worry about what others say about me. It's fine, really!" As you said his first name, his hand squeezed yours. You saw that a faint blush made its way onto his face. Hand-in-hand, you and Bakugou walked into the classroom. All your classmates saw that you were holding hands with the ash-blonde, and their eyes widened. "Y/N, you're dating Bakugou?" "You two will make a great couple!" And the list of compliments goes on. Kirishima gave you a thumbs-up from across the room, and you returned the thumbs-up. From the corner of your eye, you could see that Bakugou looked jealous. 'He'll get over it.' You pat his cheek softly, and walked to your desk.

All Might came to the classroom a short time after, and announced that we would have heroes vs. villains training. Due to the odd number of students, you were put in Team A with Izuku and Ochako. The first match was held with your team against Team D. "We're fighting against Tenya and Katsuki..." Izuku had a look of determination. He wanted to prove to Bakugou that he had the strength to become a hero.

All Might gave your team a layout of the building. Using your impeccable memory, you memorized the entire layout. You told Izuku and Ochako your plan. "Bakugou's most likely to go on his own and attack Izuku. So when he finds us, I'll pair up with Izuku and distract Bakugou's attention while Ochako looks for the 'nuclear weapon'. After you find the floor that it's on, tell me. I'll use my quirk to teleport there and get the weapon." Your two teammates showed signs of agreement, and the match began.

The three of you walked around the building, waiting for Bakugou to strike. "DEKU!!" You heard a loud yell from behind you. "Go, Ochako!" She ran to the stairs while you and Izuku began to fight Bakugou. As the fight proceeded, Izuku grabbed the enemy and threw him to the ground. "I knew that you were going to land a hit with your right fist." Izuku had analyzed Bakugou's fighing habits... That was smart. Suddenly, Bakugou knocked Izuku back. Your teammate was on the ground, vulnerable. But you saw the ash-blonde attack your teammate over and over again. He could've captured Izuku easily with the capture tape.

"Katsuki, stop! You're just using him as a goddamn ragdoll!" You appeared in front of Bakugou, using your time abilities. "MOVE ASIDE, Y/N!! I NEED TO SHOW THE QUIRKLESS RUNT A LESSON!!" You shook your head, standing in front of the injured Izuku. "You're going to have to get through me first." Your idea was to stall time for Izuku to recover from the hit landed on him.

"Y/N, I found the weapon! But Tenya saw me..! Get to the fourth floor as soon as you can!" Your current situation made it hard to hurry. "I'm in a difficult situation... But I'll try to hurry!" You responded to Ochako.

You didn't want to use your quirk too seriously in the match. You wanted to make this match fair, and that wasn't working out very well. Bakugou gritted his teeth and used his explosions to blast you aside, ready to land a heavy attack on Izuku. Your left side wasn't perfectly healed, and a certain person had opened the gash on your side. Blood slowly trickled out, and when you looked up, Bakugou had hurt Izuku very seriously. 

"K-KATSUKI!!" You yelled. Getting up and using the wall as support, you grimaced. "If you're going to treat this like a game, I have no choice but to go all out." His palms stopped releasing tiny explosions. Before the enemy could reply, you used all your strength to stop time. Opening a portal to the 'nuclear weapon', you walked through and put your palm against it. Resuming time again, you looked at Tenya's shocked expression and heard All Might announce your team's victory. Walking back through the portal that was still open, you approached Bakugou. "I wanted to make this match fair, but..." Your body felt as if it were going to disappear into thin air. "...Your arrogant ass doesn't want to make things easy for anyone but yourself-" And then your body gave out. The world around you turned pitch black.

You woke up in the nurse's office, and you realized that it was almost the end of the school day. You felt bad for snapping at Bakugou, and with Recovery Girl's permission, you left the office and opened a rift to your seat in the classroom. Everyone looked at you in shock as you just appeared next to your seat. "Y/N. You were too reckless." Aizawa. Even though his expression looked like he was fine, you could sense that he was mad. You sat down in your seat, looking worn-out. 'I'll apologize to him after class... I still want our first date to go well...'

The school day finally came to an end, and you walked with Bakugou out of the school. "So... Your house?" You looked at him, and he grunted in response. "...Sure." He looked pissed for losing earlier. You decided not to apologize. It might make him even angrier. The rest of the walk was silent. As you walked into Bakugou's house, you greeted his mom.

"KATSUKI, YOU FINALLY GOT A GIRLFRIEND?!"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, MOM!!"

"THAT'S NOT HOW YOU TALK TO YOUR MOTHER, ASSHAT!!"

'So that's where he gets his attitude from...' You and Bakugou went into his room, and you sat there silently. You decided to break the silence by pulling out a bento box. You knew that he liked spicy things, so you added some spice to it. "For you, Katsuki!" Smiling at Bakugou, you handed the bento box to him, and he muttered under his breath, taking the bento box. "I-I'm really sorry for what I did earlier, and-" You stopped when you saw Bakugou crying. 

"I'M NOT GOING TO LOSE TO ANYONE!! I'M GOING. TO BE. THE TOP HERO!!" Tears were running down his eyes, and you knew that you triggered his emotions. "Please calm down, Katsuki... It's okay." You hugged him, but he shoved you away. "I... I'm going home. It's getting late, anyways. Feel better..!" Covering your sadness, you gave him a weak smile and walked downstairs to say bye to Bakugou's mom. "Have a nice day, Mitsuki!" She wanted you to call her by her first name, which you had no problem with.

You walked out of the Bakugou household, and you let out a sigh. Tears were running down your eyes. 'I should've just ended the match as soon as it started... Then this wouldn't have happened...' You wiped your eyes with your sleeves, and proceeded to walk to your house.

'I'm sorry, Bakugou... But I can't stand seeing others getting innocently hurt...'
