"Do you fancy going for a walk and then having a picnic today Paul?" Jo asked him one morning, looking wistfully out of the window, "It's such a lovely day."
"That's sounds a great idea love."
They set off, hand in hand, picnic packed into a rucksack on Paul's back. They talked constantly about plans for once they returned to London and their future together.
"What I'm looking forward to mostly," said Jo softly, hugging Paul and kissing him, "is waking up with you everyday. no more long distance relationships and only seeing you every few weeks."
He smiled at her.
She looked around at the views. "This place is very remote isn't it?"
He nodded. "All this land belongs to the farm, so yes, apart from us and the sheep, there's not likely to be anyone around. Why?"
He watched as she grinned at him. "Then make love to me Mr McCartney. I've always fancied making love outdoors."
He looked at her. He saw her desire for him. This was something of a revelation to Paul. The Jo he thought he had known for the last four and a half years was not the same woman he was on honeymoon with. His Jo had always been slightly shy and uncertain in the bedroom. Their lovemaking, until their honeymoon, had been loving, gentle and special but he had always taken the lead. Suddenly he found himself with a more confident, bolder Jo. It was refreshing and amazingly sexy. They couldn't keep their hands off each other....now often lead by Jo. He marvelled at the change but it also puzzled him too.
"You've become very bold and demanding all of a sudden Mrs McCartney." he said suddenly.
She looked at him, panic stricken. "I'm....I'm sorry Paul....if you don't like it then...."
He took her hands and kissed them. "No no....I love it Jo but it's just...."
"What?" she whispered. He could see she was afraid of his answer.
"I loved what we had before Jo but suddenly your boldness and you taking the lead feels great. It's incredibly sexy but it just takes some getting used to that's all."
She nodded, still looking uncertain.
"Jo love," he said suddenly, "Why the change. Was there a problem before?"
Jo blushed deeply. "No....I've always loved being with you Paul. What we've shared has always been amazing it's just that.....well, this is going to sound so stupid, but part of me felt that sharing my body with you was wrong. It went against what I believed in and, in some ways, I still felt like I was betraying Rob. I was trying to balance that with my desire for you, my wanting you to touch me and make love to me." She looked into his eyes. "I adore you so much Paul. Since we've got married all those crazy feelings have gone. You're my husband and I, as your wife, am able to express my desire for you and what I want to share sexually with you without feeling like any part of it is wrong. What you have now Paul is the real me I guess. The real me, with the desires and boldness you describe, that I'm no longer afraid to express and share. I .hope you can live with that."
He leaned in and kissed her deeply. "Oh Mrs McCartney, it's a difficult job but I think I might be up for it!."
Jo laughed.
"What's that for?"
"You. You're mad!"
"Mad about you my love." He kissed her softly. "So, since I'm taking requests today, do you still want me to make love to you here?"
"Please."
