10 years later...
3rd Person's POV
There was a brown haired girl sitting on the grass, her arms thin and tanned. Her long brown hair blowing in the wind. In front of her a grave, that said Y/N Y/M/N Jauregui Hernandez Beloved daughter Her smile brightened even the darkest day.
"So, there's this girl..." She looked down at the ring in her finger. The blue gem shining in the sun light. "I met her in school. She's very nice. And... I think I like her." She caressed the stone. "I mean, she makes me happy. You would've liked her, you guys like most of the same things." She looked up at the sky with her eyes closed, trying not to cry. "I miss you so much. You have no idea. I wish you were here." She closed her eyes and for a second she could've sworn she felt Y/N's fingers on her shoulder, but when she looked behind her no one was there.
She heard a honk and saw the car waiting for her. She left the flowers in front of the grave and said her goodbyes, promising to come back soon.
She ran to the car and opened the back seat door and sitting down in the middle. Both her moms were waiting for her, along with her two little sisters, twins. Daughters of Camila and Lucy. Camila, who was on the drivers seat, looked back at her and touched Mackenzie's knee."Are you okay, baby?"
Mackenzie looks out the window and up to the sky, like if she truly believed that somewhere up there was her first love. She dries a tear and nods her head.
"Yeah, Mamá. I'm fine." And Camila drives away.50 years after Y/N's death...
Ally Brooke Hernandez Jauregui was sick, she didn't have much time and doctors thought it was better if she stayed home, because there was nothing they could do for her anymore. Ally and Lauren had three beautiful children. Two boys and a girl. And two beautiful grandchildren.
Their children had said their goodbyes to Ally, against their will, because they were not ready to let their mother go.
But Lauren knew. She knew she was dying, she knew and she had gotten used to the idea. And that night, Ally too left her.5 years later...
Lauren's alone in the big house that she and, her now, deceased wife, had worked so hard to buy. She looked around the house, looking at framed pictures in the living room of happy moments she got to spend with her family. And she stopped in front of the fireplace. Right in the middle of all the fotos was a picture of Y/N on the beach. Mackenzie in front of her shying away from the water she was throwing and behind her, 24 year old Ally, laughing her heart out. she touched the glass and smiled.
She walked to her bedroom and sat on the bed with her laptop. She searched for a specific folder, inside, homemade videos awaited for her.
She smiled while watching the many videos of her children when they were still little. And then she saw. The oldest video there. Dated July, 19, 2017. She couldn't help but cry. It was a video recorded by her first daughter. Y/N Y/M/N Jauregui, who before she died became, Y/N Y/M/N Jauregui Hernandez.
In the video Y/N walked around a recording studio showing the camera a small vending machine in the end of hall and the couch inside the studio, where she used to sleep in after long recording days or where she would sit at to make funny videos with her Auntie Dinah. Then she focused the camera on Lauren, 21 year old Lauren. And she sent a kiss to the camera.
76 year old Lauren couldn't help but cry, she closed her laptop and put it on her bedside. She looked at the picture in her nighstand, Y/N, a young Lauren, Camila, Dinah, Ally, Normani looked back at her smiling. She hugged the frame. And it was hugging that frame, that she fell asleep. To not wake up again. But when she did. All she saw was white, she was dressed in white jeans, a white shirt and was barefoot. And she was young again. No wrinckles in her skin, no back hurting, no knee injurie. Nothing. She was healed of everything. Her hair was down and back to its natural color, brown.
As she walked through the imense white she saw two shadows coming in her direction.
They were coming closer and soon she started to reconize that huge amount of auburn hair. And the woman beside her was also way too familiar.
Y/N extended her hand to her and with a smile, she said:"Hi Mommy. I missed you." Lauren smiled and took her hand gratefully.
"Together at last." Ally said. And together they walked away into the never ending white paradise.
