A New Dawn

Chapter 1

~Previously On What Lurks in The Shadows~

Nayichu sent her warriors to find the shinobi in the turtles lair, and succeeded, when the turtles find out that Larota was the shinobi all along, now they have to find a way to get her back before Nayichu does something horrible!

~Now, a hours
after Larota's capture~

Venus had woken up a few hours after the attack, and been updated on what had happened during the time she was unconscious. A few tears were shed, then angry words. Venus had yelped at the boys on how they should've protected Lara better, and not let something that is supposedly super powerful into the enemy's hands.

After Splinter and Hopu calmed the tessen wielder down, they orederd everyone to get some sleep, and with would figure out a plan to rescue Larota.

Leo had asked Venus the next day if she would be up for meditating, to try and help clear her mind, and get some bonding time with each other since the previous days had been hectic.

Donnie and Talena have been spending a lot of time In the lab working on random inventions to get their minds off there saddness. Though they have bonded a lot in last two or three days, and Donnie ended up asking Taly if they could date, and of course Taly turned giddy and said yes.

The two pranksters actually didnt do much of anything and avoided each other and everyone else in the lair, which was quiet strange, though Amoly was heart broken that her oldest sister was gone, so the others thought it was normal, Mikey on the other no one knew what was going on with him. He did bake a lot though, so he was keeping busy.

And last there's Raphael, who has been spending all or most of his time destroying the punching bag that ws in his room, only leaving to eat and use the restroom.

He felt as if all the blame should be on him, and that its was his fault that Lara had been kiddnaped, Raphs feelings for her made it worse for him.

Splinter then called all of them down to the dojo to talk with them and start planning on how to Get Lara back from Nayichu.

"Okay, to begin we have to remember that Nayichu will stop at nothing to keep Larota with her at all costs, and from the information that Hopu has given me, she has the means to do so. So we need a plan that even she would not prepare for." Splinter explained as they all sat down, with less then happy expressions.

"So what are we going to do?" Mikey asked.

The nine of them got to work on the plan, spending hours perfecting it, making sure everyone new what they are going to do, and even called April and Casey, plus a couple of friendly mutants for help.

The next day everyone was preparing themselves for the fight that was sure to go down when they arrived.

"Okay is everyone ready?" Venus asked as they all met in the living room, close to the entrance to the lair.

Everyone nodded and grabbed last minute items they might need, then headed out, blending with the shadows.

When the turtles plus April, Casey and others, made it to Nayichu's lair. They got to their positions, and readied themselves to attack.

Leo made the signal and everyone got into position and attacked....

Only to see that the building was abandoned.

"Shit!" Raph yelled out as he punched a wall, after they had searched the whole building for any signs of life.

"Dangit.... Okay new plan... We have to find where they are now... Let's got back to the lair to regroup" Leo sighed with anger. They all hung their heads down as they made their back to the sewers.

"I'm gonna stay out for a bit... " Raph said suddenly and stopped.

Leo nodded solomly, and watched as his younger brother went the opposite direction.

"Okay guys let's get back and tell Splinter and Hopu... Then figure out where Lara and Nayichu is"

Hey guys... Welcome back!!!! So sorry that this is so short for the first chapter, but I've just started school and have been kept busy with all the homework and soccer practices that have been taking up my time.

I promise you that I will try my hardest to keep updating on a somewhat regular schedule, just bear with me please everybody!
