Kenny stared outside his window. As soon as he saw a familiar car wait outside the house, he got up, and dragged himself to the car. He didn't sleep a wink out of fear that he would sleep in. He decided that he would get some sleep on the airplane, or maybe even the car ride. Kenny yawned, and dragged his suitcase behind him. He felt like a ghost. An exhausted ghost.

As soon as he loaded his suitcase, he closed the car trunk. Kenny got in the front seat, buckled up, and shifted to get comfortable.

"Good morning," Kenny mumbled, in a drained tone.

Kyle gave him a soft smile.

"Good morning. Did you get any sleep?"

Kenny chuckled, and stretched. He shook his head.

"Not at all. You?"

"I had some coffee, and I got some sleep. You know what? You should get some rest, I can wake you up as soon as we get to the airport."

Kenny nodded, closing his eyes. Every part of him was screaming for him to wake up, and to get more information on the trip. He fell into a deep slumber instead. Maybe he can ask questions on the airplane.

Kenny woke up to Kyle talking on the phone.

"You're on the way to pick up my car? Thank you. Is dad driving my car back to the house? Oh. Oh no. Okay. Thanks, mom. Love you too."

Kyle hung up, and turned off the car. Kenny rubbed his eyes, as he scanned his surroundings. The car was parked in a parking lot next to the airport. Kyle opened his car door, and looked at Kenny. He sighs in relief.

"You're awake, thank God. You can be very difficult to wake up."

Kenny shrugged. "I can be difficult, only if I want to," he replied with a playful smirk.

Kyle playfully rolled his eyes. He got out of the car. The two went to grab their bags, and they started walking towards the airport. By 5 am, they were on the plane, and off to New Jersey. At this point, both boys were awake. Kenny was a little tired, but he got himself a coffee at the one of the shops. Kenny listened to some music, as he played games on his phone. Kyle took a green Polaroid out of his bag, and a scrapbook. He turned off the flash, and took a photo of Kenny. The only lightening that was there was pretty dim, since the only light provided was a small light above their heads that was right next to the air conditioner. The photo came out of the camera, and Kyle frantically shook it. Kenny glanced at Kyle, and was going to question it, but decided not to. Kyle was just scrapbooking, and scrapbooking was one way to kill time on this plane.

Twenty minutes have passed.

Kenny had grown bored of the games on his phone, and Kyle was just staring out the plane window. The sun was starting to somewhat rise. Kenny sighs. They still had three hours left. Kenny closed his eyes, in hope that he could fall back asleep again, but he opens his eyes, due to Kyle tapping him on the shoulder.

"Hey. Do you think I can listen to some music too?" he whispered.

Kenny nodded. He pushed the armrest up so he could scoot closer to Kyle. He gave his friend one earbud, and turned up the music up a little bit louder. Kenny felt Kyle scoot closer. He didn't mind. Kyle then rested his head on Kenny's shoulder. Kenny smiled softly, and closed his eyes. The two drifted off once more.
