The two woke up ten mintes before the plane landed. Despite not being as tired as before, the boys remained the same way they were. Kyle kept his head on Kenny's shoulder, and Kenny didn't move. They were pretty comfortable the way they were, and didn't move until the plane landed.

It took awhile, but once off the plane, the boys found their luggage.

Kyle took his phone out, and texted his parents, letting them know that he landed safely. Kenny looked around. He was far from home, and felt a slight pang of homesickness already. Kyle put his phone away.

"Alright, so from here, we can have breakfast. The hotel is close enough to walk to, but it is a bit humid. The walk is around thirty minutes. I told you that we're here for a week, right?"

Kenny nods.

The two exit the airport, and begin walking. The airport is part of  town. Kyle looked around for somewhere to eat breakfast. Both boys removed their jackets since it was pretty humid.

"Hey, Kyle! Check it out!"

Kyle looked at Kenny. He pointed at a small pancake house on the other side of the road. Both exchanged glances, and immediately, they knew that they'd have breakfast there. They ran across the street, since there were barely any cars. Kenny was surprised that the town they were in was almost a ghost town.

When the two boys entered the diner, they noticed that there were literally no people in there.

"Is this place even open?" Kenny whispered in Kyle's ear.

Kyle simply shrugged. He began to walk around. After a couple of minutes of searching, they decided to leave. Kyle was honestly surprised. He figured that there would be some people there, especially since it's not too far from an airport. He sighed, but refused to give up on finding somewhere to eat.

The two walked for awhile, and eventually stumbled across a Steak 'n Shake. They both doubled check to see if people were in there. Luckily, there were people, so they walked in. There wasn't a wait for a table, and they were seated immediately. Kenny's stomach growled, and so did Kyle's.

"I'm getting a milkshake."

Kyle giggled, "I know that New Jersey is two hours ahead of Colorado, so it's later here, but do you think that it's still too early for one?"

Kenny gave it some thought, then shook his head.

"Nah, I think I'm good."

Kyle ended up ordering some French toast, and Kenny got a milkshake along with some fries. To Kyle's surprise, Kenny finished his food without getting sick. Both decided to split the paycheck, since the cost wasn't too much. The boys left behind money to pay off the meal, and left, heading towards the hotel.

Kyle smiled to himself. He considered all of this a bubbly beginning.
