-At the get together-

Millie's pov.
"Don't you think it will be a little weird?" Sadie asked before we got out of the car.

We are outside of maddie s house for Kendall's birthday 'get together'.

"What's gonna be a little weird?" I asked.

"You know Finn and Kendall used to date..." she said in a low voice.

Finn rolled his eyes.

"Why would it be weird. I have a beautiful girlfriend. And Kendall and I are no longer awkward around each other. I'm fine. Millie and I are fine." He answered.

I blushed when he called me beautiful. I love Finn so much.

"Okay good. Let's go!" Sadie said.

Sadie is always a little overprotective of me. But who can blame her she's my best friend.

We called Jaeden for a ride but he didn't answer. So we assumed he was not coming. For right now it was just Finn, Sadie, Noah and Caleb.

We got out of the car and knocked on the front door. The door swung open, to reveal Maddie.

"Hey I'm glad you made it get in quickly." Maddie said.

"So is this like a surprise thing or?" I asked.

"Well yes and no. She knows you guys are here but she doesn't know it's for her birthday she just thinks it's for fun or something." Maddie answered.

Maddie didn't do much but she did have a happy birthday sign and a cake out.

"Thanks for coming Kendall's been through a lot and I wanted to do something not so big but special for her."

"We are happy to help Maddie." I said.

"Yeah so not that I care but where is Jaeden?" Maddie asked suddenly.

"Oh we're not sure" Finn answered.

"Ah okay." Maddie said. She looked a little disappointed.

"I can try and call him again if you want?" Finn asked.

"Oh no, no you don't it's just...I have to make sure why my guests aren't here." Maddie lied.

"You sure?" Sadie asked.

"Yeah one hundred percent." Maddie answered.

We then heard a knock on the door. Maddie looked outside the window.

"Okay she's here, Millie you open the door, and I'll walk in with the cake." Maddie ordered.

I nodded and opened the door.

"Hi Kendall!" I said greeting her.

"Hey Millie." She said smiling.

We walked towards the kitchen where everyone was at. Maddie had given Sadie, Caleb, and Finn noise makers so when she walked in she would be surprised.

Everyone blew the noise makers and Maddie came out with the cake.

"Happy birthday!" Maddie said excitedly.

"Aww guys thank you!" Kendall said.

We all smiled at her. Kendall blew out the candles.

"It's red velvet!" Noah suddenly said.

"How did you know that?" Maddie asked.

"I may have snuck a piece of it in my mouth while you weren't looking." Noah explained.

We all laughed.

Suddenly the door bell rang once again.

"Who's that?" Kendall asked.

"Oh that must be the pizza." Finn said.

"You ordered pizza?" Caleb asked

"I'm sorry I was hungry, plus pizza is good we all like it." Finn answered.

"I don't." I answered.

Everyone looked at me like I was ghost.

"Sorry?" I slightly chuckled.

"I'll go get the door." Maddie said.

Noah's pov
I walked towards the door.

"Wait who's paying because I'm not!" I asked.

I opened the door to reveal an unexpected face. Who was not the pizza delivery guy.

It was Grace along with a big group of people behind her.

"Grace what the fuck do you want?" I asked.

"You can't have a party without moi" she said.

She then pushed me aside and everyone behind her started walking in.
