Regina heard several gunshots behind her as she retreated behind a brick wall and peeked out on the side, she caught a glimpse of black town cars leaving the alley filled with gangsters. Regina was exhausted from running, her feet ached from running in heels and she was ready to give up until she heard a loud bang that sounded like a bomb going off. She left her hiding spot and walked into the shadows of the dimly lit alley. Armed with a revolver strapped to her thigh she crept through the alley until she saw an opening which led to a small pub, inside she could call for help and put an end to all this, Regina darted across the alley but bumped into a tall gentleman with blonde hair, he grabbed Regina and brought her close to him.
"Found you." Said a smirking Welsh.
Regina struggled out of his grip and pulled her revolver on him, the sight of the gun did nothing to the gangster as he started to move closer to Regina, who was backing up. Regina fired several shots and missed every time, the more he got closer, the more she backed up until she had nowhere to go as her back touched the cold concrete wall.
"Aw, where are you going to go now?" The gangster taunted as he grabbed her armed hand and removed the pistol, Regina punched Welsh in the face and wriggled out of his grip, she retrieved her pistol and ran back into the darkness, she zig-zagged through the alley maze and never looked back. She ran into an open area where multiple street lights shined down upon her like spotlights. She stopped in her tracks when she saw a man dressed in white crouched down in pain, but the man was not alone, he was surrounded by gangsters in pinstripe suits holding machine guns pointed at him. As the man turned over, Regina's jaw dropped when she saw Michael's face in agony. Michael was dragged by two of the gangsters and placed in a car heading back to the warehouse, she had to get there before they did. As she turned on her heels she came in contact with a needle that went inside of her neck, Welsh pushed down on the syringe filled with clear liquid in Regina's neck, her brown eyes widened and started to close when the injection was finished, Welsh lifted Regina in his arms and placed her unconscious body in the car and drove back to the warehouse.
"I've got her Boss, I'll be there shortly." Welsh informed Mr. Big on his communication device.
"Bring her to the main room." Mr. Big replied as he looked over his shoulder through the window of the basement where Felicia and Nero were imprisoned.
Welsh was soon greeted by two other gangsters who unlocked the gate to the entrance. He drove inside and parked on the side of the building, he retrieved Regina from the back seat and carried her on his shoulder inside, where he was promptly greeted by Anderson another lieutenant of the gang, and Mr. Big.
"You didn't kill her did you?" Mr. Big questioned as he examined Regina's lifeless body.
"No sir I injected her with Vial no.3, the sleeping serum." Welsh corrected as he looked at Regina's face.
"Boss we got him! We finally got him!" Exclaimed another gangster who burst through the entrance. Mr. Big's dark eyes gleamed with devilish delight as he was happily informed.
"Bring him to me now." Mr. Big ordered as he and his two lieutenants stood beside him as he settled in an easy chair, Regina was placed on top of a wooden table positioned as if she were lying in her own casket. Mr. Big at least wanted some excitement from the "Smooth Criminal" before he finally got rid of him. Michael was harshly ushered in and thrown in front of Mr. Big, he lifted himself off of the ground and looked up at his rival.
"Long time no see, Smooth one." Mr. Big greeted with a nefarious smirk.
"I could say the same for you." Michael wiped the blood from his lip staring into Mr. Big's soul.
"Before we get started I have a little surprise for you." Mr. Big snapped his fingers towards Welsh who went over to the wooden and picked Regina up in his arms and carried her over to Mr. Big, who motioned him to set her down on the ground. Michael's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw Regina lifeless, his body started to tense up as he heaved dryly from attacks to his stomach.
"Now don't jump to conclusions, she's not dead. I thought I would give her the courtesy of not seeing you dead." The lieutenants laughed at the grim remark.
Michael ignored the slick remark as he kept his eyes on Regina, he reached out but fell over grasping his stomach, his heartbeat was the loudest thing he could hear in the room.
