(Colson's Pov)
"You need to find yourself today." my aunt said handing me my bag.
"I'll try." I sighed grabbing it.
"You'll be fine. Just listen to yourself and do what you want."
I hugged her and exited the house. Feeling that warm air hit my skin lightly.
"Who cares?" I asked myself walking down the street slipping on my white beats.
School was usual. No one paid attention as I walked past them. Too afraid of my tall height. Except for one.
"Hey Kelly." Hailee smiled walking beside me saying the name knowing it annoyed me but from her it didn't.
"What do you want today?" I groaned trying to seem annoyed.
"Nothing. Just came to say hi as usual. Like you would care." she said walking away.
I do care. I thought blushing a bit.
She was the girl I liked but never admitted to. I protected her a few times and I regret it because mostly everyday she's bothering me and it gets harder and harder to keep my feelings in.
I couldn't make a choice whether of not to follow her as I saw the fellow football team coming over.
"Hey Baker. Ready to play our game?" Adam chuckled smacking a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah." I said faking it. The words felt like vomit in my mouth.
I didn't like hanging with them but then again. Who else was there to hang with? My insides wanted desperately to be with Hailee but then a different side wanted to feel the cool kid style and be with someone like Bianca. The hottest girl in our class.

"You coming to party with us tomorrow Baker?" another boy asked.
I gulped and nodded. "I think he just saw an Angel." Derek smiled.
"Who B?" Adam asked.
"Yeah. I gotta get to class. I'll see you guys at the football game." I said excusing myself.
"Alright. Remember game is at 3! Party tomorrow begins at 8 in the abandoned bar!" they shouted leaving when the bell rung.
On behalf of anybody finding theirself
I can't go if Hailee isn't going. I said to myself inside my head.
The next class me and her sat together and I sorta ran to Math even though I hated it.
"Hey Haiz." I smiled charmingly when I found her already sitting there writing something in her notebook.
"Hi." she replied focusing hard on what she was writing.
"What are you writing?"
"Nothing."
"Come on. Let me see."
"You're going to laugh." she whispered.
"No I won't. Come on let me see." I sighed. "I'll let you see one of my raps." I said.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Let me see."
She took a breath and slid me her notebook.
"It's one of the songs I'm working on. I write when I need to solve something or for fun." she explained.
