Your POV

My eyes widened as I realized what I was doing, tears ran down my face as I stared down at the sharp black axe I had in my gloved hands. Blood ran down the blade and covered my clothing, hands, and parts of my face. I released my grip on the handle slowly then dropped to my knees, I screamed out in agony, "Why! Why did I kill them all?" I slammed my head against the hard gravel causing new blood to run down my face. I reached up to touch the new cut on my head then brought my hand down to eye level, my scared eyes widened slightly at the blood. I closed my eyes then began to cry loudly, my eyes hurt and my throat began to dry up. As I began to calm down I gasped for air trying not to let anymore tears fall, I stood up slowly. I turned around to see the death masterpiece I had finished, my small town was in flames. I know no one will come for another hour, my town was especially far away from any others. We seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere. I wiped my eyes with my grey blood stained gloves and watched as my town burned to the ground, bodies were littered everywhere. 'How could I do all of this?' I questioned myself before something inside me snapped. Fear rushed through me as I thought up billions of questions, 'How am I supposed to get away with this?' 'What am I supposed to do now?' my head began to hurt from my thoughts, I looked past the corn fields at what seemed like endless forest. I picked up my hatchet without thinking and ran towards the forest, my adrenaline pumped with each step I took. My breathing began to get heavier and I began to get tired since the forest was a good distance away, I pushed myself until I couldn't anymore. Before I could slow down however I tripped over a fallen corn stalk, I tumbled to the ground dropping my hatchet, breathing as though I hadn't in hours. I groaned as my whole side hurt from the impact, I stood up slowly, wiping my hands on my bloody jeans. I slowly took a step then gripped my side as pain shoot through it. I bit my lip trying to ignore the pain as I reached down and grabbed my hatchet from the ground. I held my side still with my free hand while I let my other hand dangle at my side. I flinched as I put weight on the injured side of my body, I slowly continued my journey to the forest. I gasped as I began to hear sirens, forgetting all about my pain I sprinted into the dark forest. Stepping into the forest I stumbled behind a thick tree stump, I watched as police, ambulance, and fire trucks came. My body shook with the fear that they would find me, I was a whole cornfield away though and I doubted they would see me. I watched with wide eyes as they put out fires and dragged away bodies in body bags, tears began to stream down my face yet I never made a noise. It was to far to hear any words, so all I heard was the sirens and jumbled shouts. I wiped my now puffy (E/C) eyes, then wiped my running nose. I took a deep breath then began to retreat into the woods trying not to be seen by the outside world, I walked until my side was in to much pain so I slowly slid down a tree's stump. I hissed as the bark scraped against my side, then sighed in relief as I sat down on comfortable moss. I closed my eyes as I took in big breaths of air, I began to hum a tune to calm me down. The hum turned into a full song that ended with, "I'm sorry I killed them all." I sighed then rested on my good side and used my arm for a pillow, I began to pick off the now dry blood on my hatchet. My eyes slowly closed as I kept singing the song over and over again. "I wish I was perfect. Oh, I wish I was better than most. But, my mind won't let me sleep at night, visions that wake the dead, always seem to play inside my head. Oh, I wish I as perfect, yet I am not. I'm sorry I wish I could rewind the time, but no. Ohh, I'm broken inside. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I killed them all."  Each time I sang the song I would experiment and try different rhythms to make it sound better. Soon I fell into a deep sleep.

My eyes shot open as I heard loud blood curtailing screams, I watched myself laugh insanely as I swung my hatchet on my mothers neck, her decapitated head rolled across the floor, fear frozen on her face. I then watched myself light the place on fire. I awoke to myself screaming, my body covered in sweat. I sighed and took deep breaths trying to calm down, I stood up knowing I wouldn't get much more sleep. I looked up past the tree branches at the sky and saw millions of stars, and right above me was the little dipper. I smiled forgetting all about my dream, I climbed up the tree I was sleeping under and settled on a thick branch near the top. I watched the stars breathing slowly, I smiled as I traced the stars with my fingers. Finally I got down from the branch as I realized I had to go deeper into the forest, I slowly climbed back down and grabbed the black hatchet on the ground. I squinted into the darkness so my eyes would adjust, as they did I continued walking into the lush growth. My body stopped moving and I froze as I heard a man's deep and sexy voice behind me say, "You s-should drop t-that weapon." almost immediately I unintentionally dropped my hatchet. I began to shake violently as large hands grabbed my sides, I yelped as the man squeezed my pained side. As he let go of my sides I whipped my body around only to be met by darkness, my fear began to grow as I felt a hand brush my butt. I continued to turn around quickly as I kept feeling a hand brush against places on my body I wasn't watching. Soon I was getting sick of it, I reached down and picked up my hatchet. With gritted teeth I yelled out, "Come face me you coward!" All I got in reply was stuttering laughter. I got more and more angry as this man laughed at me, I began to show my canine teeth in an attempt to show I was being dominate. Suddenly arms wrapped around me from behind, I swung my hatchet behind me at the man. As I swung, my hatchet was hit back head on by another weapon. My hatchet flew out of my hands because of the impact, I shivered as I felt hot breath on my ear. I went to punch the mysterious person but he grabbed my hands and shoved them down to my hips. I struggled around in his arms for a bit before calming down and using my brain. I looked at his arms and hands, I saw his hands were covered in dirty bandages and his arms were covered by the long sleeves of a stripped tan sweatshirt. I began to examine the situation, his arms were wrapped around me and gripped both of my hands so he was out of arms. I quickly twisted my body around so I was face to face with the man, as I did so I managed to rip my hands free. He had fluffy brown hair and bright orange goggles covering his eye color, a smirk placed on his face. A loose piece of fabric hung on his neck, the black fabric had weird metal bars attached to it. I went to push away from him but he wrapped his arms around me once more, I continued to push against his chest yelling at him, "Let go of me!" he just continued to smirk at me, as I struggled in his arms I took notice of his bones cracking every now and then. As I heard sirens my eyes widened and I stopped struggling, I looked up at the man his smirk replaced with a frown filled with fear as he whispered in that deep and smooth voice, "Oh shit."
