five
"good morning, eurydice."
my heart was caught in my throat as i could feel his soft fingertips grazing my jaw gingerly. and yet again i was becoming lost in you; using the stars in your orbs like stepping stones in order to get a little deeper inside of you.
i soon awoke from the dream like daze in order to choke out a simple, yet small good morning. it only earned a small and insanely devine chuckle that rolled off your tongue and danced through your lips. it made my knees weak to the point where i felt like i could lose my composure but your soft voice brought me back.
"come on, sweetheart. let's go eat first."
he raised his hand out in front of my figure and i gladly slipped my fingers between his as he pulled me along the sidewalk. our footsteps clicked against the dew covered cement in unison as we both breathed in not only the fresh morning air, but each other. our soft breathing and footsteps continued along for awhile until we had finally stopped in front of a small, yet beautiful coffee shop.
our hands were still laced together as he pushed open the door earning a greeting from the boy behind the counter. as we approached the counter the young boy's name tag flashed in the soft light, reading out "mark." taeyong slightly nudged me out of my daze before looking at me with an utmost soft sincerity.
"what do you want, love?"
i peered at the vintage menu written neatly in chalk before making a decision.
"pick for me, taeyong."
the sides of his lips perked up as he simply nodded asking me to go pick a seat.
i nodded running off to find a place that was suitable for the both of us. my eyes scanned the large space before spotting a small table by the window. it was like it had come straight out of a dream with the curtains parted just right for the sunlight to hit our skin softly.
i had sat down peering out of the panes out into the early morning city with my hands rested on my chin. it had been a long time since i had felt this relaxed and carefree. after a few minutes i was interrupted by the screeching of the chair on the tiled floor as you had sunk into your seat.
we didn't say anything we just took each other in as we both gazed dreamily at one another silently. this went on for a while until the young boy had come back with our order. he had set down a tray with some cake and tea smiling brightly as he placed it down gently.
"thanks, mark."
mark simply smiled back at taeyong who looked comfortable and familiar with him. as quickly as he had come, he was already back behind the counter with his headphones in snapping his fingers enthusiastically. my attention had returned to taeyong who eyed me nervously, looking back and forth between the food and me.
"i hope you like what i ordered. you said you liked tea and little coffee shops, so i took you to my favorite place. i'm sorry if you don't like it we can go somewhere els-"
i had let out a loud chuckle at taeyong's nervous rambling as he awkwardly scratched the nape of his neck.
"taeyong this is fine, this amazing, just shut up."
he just smirked lazily as i silently dug into the pastry, sipping tea every few bites. we both enjoyed ourselves in a thick silence until you had broken it.
"hey eurydice?"
i simply hummed as i took a sip of the hot tea.
"you're beautiful."
i spit my tea back into my cup as i choked on it feeling as if my heart was in taeyong's mouth and there i was, back to being consumed by the overflowing glass of all the good he was, drowning, but afloat.
i was speechless earning a wide grin from taeyong as he leaned against the table on his elbows, the legs of his chair teetering forward. his hands were now on my inexplicably warm cheeks as he pinched them between his fingertips, my breath hitching in my throat.
i felt like i was in love.
author's note: hello! wow taeyong and luna's love story makes me so soft. but anyways idk why but i wrote this chapter listening to aminé, childish gambino, rich chigga while i was thinking about james franco.
-anyways what's your favorite songs and artists?
