Miraculous Ladybug

The Next Day

Marinette showed up to school an hour earlier than she usually did. The weather outside was so wonderful, plus she was waiting for Adrien to show up, so she waited on the steps. She sat there and texted Alya about what she was doing this morning. Alya didn't believe that she was at school but when Marinette texted her a selfie in return she returned the text with an exasperated selfie, a toothbrush sticking out of her mouth. She laughed and looked up to see a town car pausing in front of the sidewalk. She quickly texted Alya telling her that she would see her soon and Alya continued getting ready. 

Marinette stood up and walked down the few stairs, waiting for Adrien to step out of the car. The door opened and his golden blonde hair was the first thing she saw. He stood up and grabbed his bag from inside the bag, giving Marinette a quick yet small glimpse at his backside. He turned around and closed the door, watching the car drive away. He looked over to the steps and saw Marinette standing there and he all but ran over to her. 

"Hey, Marinette! How did you sleep last night?" He asked quickly. He wanted to kiss her so badly. He knew he shouldn't until they discussed a bit more in detail the information from the previous night. 

"I slept pretty much like a baby." She laughed lightly. Adrien loved her laugh so much. He could barely disguise the happiness he felt from seeing her. She looked at him and blushed slightly before coming down to meet him at his level. 

"I'm glad... do you want to talk about last night?" He cut right to the chase. Nothing was going to happen if he kept beating around the bush. Her surprised face showed that she wasn't expecting him to come right out and say it but she still began preparing an answer. His green eyes was shining in the sunlight and she couldn't help but stare at them. 

"I mean, now that we both know it's gonna be kind of hard to go back to normal. Especially after finding out that we both like each other as well. At least I think you like me, I mean we spent a large portion of last night kissing," she said that part and grabbed her neck nervously. "But do we just start dating or do we tell our friends or do we-" She was cut off because Adrien noticed there were some people showing up now and he had grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the side of the building. He gently pressed his lips into hers and pulled back ever so slightly. "Shutting me up again huh?" She said with that captivating smirk Adrien loved about Ladybug, Marinette. 

"Yeah," he said reciprocating the smirk. "Plus I couldn't just kiss you in front of everyone, especially when Chloe could show up at any second." That was absolutely the last thing that he wanted for either of them. Frankly he couldn't stand her, but she would make both of their lives a living hell if she ever saw the two of them kissing, especially if their friends didn't even know about their relationship. "We need to tell Alya and Nino. They need to know so that if Chloe does ever find out they can help stand up for us." He spoke quickly.

"Find out about us?" She repeated. "I didn't know there was an us for her to find out?" She teased him. He loved it when she did that, it was one of the many reasons he liked her. He kissed her quickly hoping she couldn't tell what he was going to say. "I guess that means we are an us now." She said, and felt her cheeks well up with pink. She loved being more confident around Adrien, she was able to channel her Ladybug charm and remember that Adrien was Cat Noir and that she should just act like herself to him. She could be both Marinette and Ladybug with him as she hoped he could be both Cat Noir and Adrien with her. 

"Definitely. But don't let anyone know until Alya and Nino find out." And just as Adrien let the words spill from his mouth the two of them strolled up to the stairs of their school. "Let's go catch up with them. Run a second after I do okay?" He seems to know a lot about sneaking around- of course he does he is Cat Noir, she thought to herself. He ran off and she followed after him. He caught up with their friends first and she followed suit.
