She

I wake up the next morning with the most blissful feeling I have had in a long time. The last time I felt this great was on the day we met.

I moan and stretch as the sun rays that sip through the curtains touch my skin. Your arm is still snugly wrapped over my round belly and your leg rests between mine. You groan and pull me closer, our naked satiated bodies spooning under the white cotton sheets.

I sigh and smile contentedly as you buried your face in my hair. I stretch out my hand and stare at the diamond ring on my finger, sparkling as it catches the morning light.

We're engaged. It's just as I always dreamed of. You and Me. Together. Forever. Now with our little miracle on the way.

We have been through a lot these past years, challenges, triumphs, misunderstandings, mistakes, forgiveness, arguments, heartbreaks, ex-girlfriends, ex-fiancé, me running away and inevitably coming home to you because that's how it was always meant to be.

You and Me. Together.

Mrs. Nicomaine Dei Faulkerson does have a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

"Mrs. Nicomaine Dei Faulkerson." I sigh.

"Sounds perfect." You whisper and when I look over my shoulder you are already smiling at me, watching me intently.

"Hey, you. Good morning." I smile back.

"Sweetest morning, my Cupcake." You yawn then plant a sloppy kiss on my neck.

"Eeek... Laway." I giggle.

"Aba! Ngayon ka pa umarte talaga ha? Kagabi nga halos paliguan na kita ng laway sa kakahalik at kakadila ko sa buong katawan mo, di ka nagre-reklamo. Sarap na sarap ka pa nga. Tapos... Aray! Bakit ka nangungurot?" You pout and frown from the sting of pain on your forearm where I pinched you.

"Yung bibig mo. Ang bastos. Naririnig ka kaya ni baby." I say.

"Hala! Sorry, baby." You blush and look down at my belly apologetically. "Cupcake, bakit parang mas malaki na siya ngayon kesa kagabi? Baka kambal na." You grin.

"Baliw." I laugh and hit your arm. "Pero oo nga ano? Mas malaki siya. I think he got excited about the good news. Happy din siya."

"Talaga? Happy ang baby ko?" You sit up and crouch over my tummy as I roll to lie face up. "I love you, baby." You whisper to my belly then you look over at me with the most affectionate gaze. "Love na love ko kayo ni Mommy."

I smile and run my fingers through your hair then caress your cheek. "We love you too, Daddy."

"Daddy." You sigh dreamily. "Ang sarap pakinggan. Isa pa nga."

"Daddy." I smile.

"Sarap talaga." You grin. "Yan na lang tawag mo sa akin para masanay din si baby."

"Ayaw mo na ng Babe? Sweet kaya."

"Alam mo, Cupcake ko, sweet naman yung Babe kaya lang yung dahilan mo para tawagin ang Babe hindi masyadong sweet."

I think for a while but with that sheepish look you're giving me, what else is there to think about? "Sige na nga. Di ka na rin naman mukhang Babe. Ang buff mo na eh pero may burjer pa rin." I laugh.

"Sige. Tawa pa. Alam ko namang patay na patay ka sa katawan ko." You say, flexing your biceps.

"Yabang mo talaga."

"May ipagyayabang eh." You smile and poke my nose. "Ikaw. I'm the luckiest man in the world because you love me."

I smile back and we quietly stare at each other for a while.

"Mommy." I whisper.

"Ano?"

"You should call me Mommy too para masanay si baby."

"Yes, Mommy." You say gently.

You lay down beside me and take my hand then place our palms on my belly.

"He's going to be the most loved baby, isn't he?" I ask.

"He is." You whisper then you look up to me and say. "I love you so much, Mommy."

"I love you more, Daddy." I whisper back.

"Not possible." You smile and touch your lips on mine to kiss me gently at first.

I sigh delightedly and you slip your tongue between my lips, making me moan as you push, roll and suck into the depths of my mouth. I kiss you back as amorously, nipping, sucking and pushing just as intensely until we both gasp for air.

It isn't long before our hungry lips find each other again and share a deeper and more passionate kiss than the one before it. Hands roaming each other's bodies, naked skin rubbing together, arms pulling each other close, we get lost until...

"Ouch!" I gasp on your lips as we both feel a strong thud between us.

"Did he just..." You ask me with wide eyes and a big grin.

"He did. Ang lakas nun." I giggle. "Nagrereklamo na ata, Daddy. Inipit mo daw eh."

"Hindi kaya. Okay lang yang baby ko. Strong yan like Daddy di ba?" You say and touch my belly which moves again.

"Uy! Strong nga." I say and touch your cheek.

You turn to face me and kiss my lips again. This time, I push you away as the baby kicks harder.

"Aray." I wince. "Mukhang ayaw talaga niya nagki-kiss tayo. Wala sa mood."

"Anong ayaw? Kagabi nga..."

"Oh!" I glare at you.

"Ano ba yan? Paka-selosong bata naman niyan." You pout and cross your arms over your chest.

"Kanino mana?" I grin.

"Naku, Mommy. Hindi na ata ako mauubusan ng karibal sa'yo." You chuckle.

"Sa tingin ko, Daddy. Gutom lang siya. Pakainin mo muna daw kami bago ka kumiss ulit." I say.

"Ganoon ba? Eh kung ganoon, ipaluluto ko na lahat ng pagkain sa resto para sa inyo para maka-kiss na ako. Let's go!" You jump out of bed and scoop me up then carry me to the bathroom where we share a shower.
