"Ethan! I missed you bud" I say as soon as his face pop up on my screen. I see that he's on the filming location in Toronto, or at least it looks like it.
"Hi Naima! We just wrapped for the day, so you're calling on the right time" he says with a big smile.
"I'm glad, how's the movie going?"
"Everything's amazing. The cast is awesome" he says and I laugh.
"Of course it is, you're working with Jennifer Lawrence!" I exclaims and he laughs.
"That's very true, she's truly spectacular. Maybe one of the most caring persons I've ever met"
"I hope I'm one of the others on that list" I say dramatically and that cause him to laugh even more.
"You are, I promise you. I miss you guys so much though, I didn't though that it would be this hard" I says and he looks sad. I hate to see him sad as much as I hate seeing Grayson sad.
"Don't be sad! I hate seeing you sad. But are you coming to the TCA's at least?" I really hope that he says yes, I miss that kid like crazy.
"I'm not sure that I can. I'm sorry Naima"
"Oh" is all I can say.
"But hey, filming ends in September. After that I won't go anywhere, for a while" I look in at him and I see him smiling.
"I can't wait" I say and smile back at him before I continue "but how's everything with Karlee?"
"To be honest? Not that good. I can easily tell that it kills her to not be able to touch me" he sigh.
"Yeah, I've noticed. She has been kinda distant lately, even around me. Ethan please don't screw this relationship up" I say seriously.
"I'm doing my best Naima, it's just hard" he sigh once again and I nod. I understand that, I really do.
"Yeah. But hey, me and Grayson has some good news to tell you" I say with a smirk.
"Ooohhhh tell me!" He exclaims and he looks like a 5 year old boy that knows that he will get candy soon. I giggle before I speak up.
"Grayson and I will present an award at the TCA's!" I say and his face lit up.
"No way! That's huge" Ethan almost looks shocked.
"I know! And I got more news, I'm filled with them. I'm doing a charity concert with Ed Sheeran and many other stars!"
"Why is your life so positive all the time?" Ethan laughs and I join.
"I don't know, some have it better than others I guess" I giggle "excuse me, but I have an important song to write and not much time. Love you Eth, and except a call soon" I say and blow him a kiss and he laughs.
"I love you too Naima, bye" and with that he ends the call.

As soon as I end the call, I realize that I'm still at the stage area.
"Was that your girlfriend?" I jump as I hear the voice coming from behind me. When I see that it's just Jennifer I cool down.
"Jen! You scared me. But ew no, that's my twin brother's girlfriend. Naima Watson, maybe you have met her" I say and she nods.
"I have, but just briefly at an event sometime. She seems cool though"
"She is" I say and look down to the floor.
"Hey, what's up? You are so distant" Jen says and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I just have a lot on my mind I guess" I sigh and she looks at me with pity. I hate it.
"If it has to do with being away from everybody at home, you will get used to it. I promise you, just look at me" she chuckles before continuing "do you wanna go out and have some fun? Get your mind off things"
I don't know, do I? I know that it tends to end bad when I go out clubbing.
"I don't know Jen..."
"I get it, but at least have dinner with me" she offers and what can happen? It can't end that bad, it's just a dinner.
"Fine, where?" I ask and she looks pleased that I agreed.
"Pizza Hut?" She suggests and I have to admit, pizza sounds good.
I nod at her and she squeals and drags me to her car.

"Wait, wait. I have to capture this fine moment in a Snapchat picture" Jen says and takes her phone out. We have just gotten our pizza and I already have a slice in my hand.
"Of course" I say and I hold the pizza slice in my hand and do a cheesy smile. Jen takes my hand and holds it in hers over the table and then I see her take the picture.
"And.... posted" she says and lock her phone.
"Wait let me see" I say and she takes her phone again. She turns the screen to me and I see what she posted.

It's nothing wrong with the picture but the caption scares me. I know that Karlee will see it and take it the wrong way.
"No Jen you have to delete it" I say and Jen looks confused.
"Why?"
"Because I have a freaking girlfriend at home that will take it wrong!" I say and I came out a little bit harsher than I intended.
"Shit, I forgot" I see her fiddle with her phone and hopefully she took it down. "I'm so sorry Ethan, I didn't do it on purpose I swear"
"I know" I sigh as I see the text from Karlee coming in. I guess that she saw the picture, even though she took it down. "Sorry but I have to go and fix this. Thanks for tonight though" I run away and I hear Jen call after me but I ignore her.
When I'm a bit away from the restaurant I try to call Karlee. She doesn't answer me. Shit. I read through her text and man, she's pissed. I keep calling her but she keeps rejecting me. This is typical Karlee, doesn't even let me explain.
I see a cab and I call it to me. I hop in and tell the driver the address to my apartment.

I keep trying to call her but I think she turned her phone off. Eventually I get tired off it, if she doesn't even let me explain then maybe she isn't the one for me. We have been tested as a couple way too many times now, maybe it's not meant to be.
