The look on Thor's face as Loki came out of his cell was that of pure shock. Loki, with his brown hair showing under his helmet, chuckled in front of his step-brother. "Stupid Brother, you always fall for the insignificant human." Thor shot a bolt of lightning at Loki, only to have it go through him, having been nothing but an illusion. "First it was that human, Jane Foster, now this wench...honestly brother I expected better from the god of thunder"
Thor swung his hammer, Mjolnir, at the god of trickery, hitting him square in the jaw, knocking Loki through a wall of the SHIELD Helicarrier Prison Compound. " Brother you have betrayed me and all of Asgard...for that you must pay."
-At Stark Tower-
Pepper Potts, secretary and love interest to Tony Stark, was typing on her computer as something crashed through the wall. It was her boss, Tony Stark, also known as the superhero, Ironman. Pepper didn't even look up from her typing.
" Hello Ms. Potts." Tony said as his machines started disassembling the armor and taking it away, leaving him in nothing but his black muscle-shirt and jeans. The only color on him was the bluish hue of the miniature arc reactor keeping the shrapnel away from his heart.
" Hello Tony. I see the flight test for the new armor is working just fine." Pepper said sarcastically. She had been dating Tony for the last few months and everytime they scheduled a date, there was an emergency and Tony was forced to don the Iron-man suit.
Tony went up to her from behind and kissed her cheek lovingly. "Did you wanna go on that date tonight?"
Pepper looked at something behind Tony, " I would love to but I think he has other plans." Tony turned around to see a bald man with an eyepatch over his left eye standing there with his arms crossed.
"Nick Fury! What a pleasure it is to see you here, can i offer you a drink?" Tony said jokingly.
"Not now Stark. We are getting a team together." Fury calmly explained, handing Tony an electronic file describing the potential members of the team.
"So you have Uncle Sam on steroids , a guy with AMAZING anger control, two master assassins, and a Demi-god...all i wanna know is why are you putting this together?" Tony asked curiously.
"We are putting this team together to fight an unspeakable evil unlike anything we have ever seen... an unknown alien species with the ability to disintegrate an entire city with just one press of a button."
