Steve Rogers was in his room punching one of the many punching bags he had in there, remembering back when he was in the war, he punched the current bag too hard and it flew off the hook and landed on the floor, busting open.
-Brooklyn, 1945-
" I'm pregnant" Valerie told Steve right before he left. He just looked at her in shock, dressed in his Captain America costume.
" W-w-what?" He was in shock. He didn't know how to react because they had had sex once and he didn't think this would happen.
" I said I'm pregnant." She reiterated. He crossed the room in two strides and hugged her tightly.
" I have to go but I will be back and we will take care of this baby together, I promise." He had sadness in his voice but he tried to supress it to make her feel better.
-Atlantic Ocean, 1946-
Steve was falling through the sky toward the Atlantic after thwarting the Red Skull and he kept remembering the promise that he told to Valerie and how he broke it. A tear came to his eye as he hit the water with a deafening splash.

A tear was in Steve's eye as he sank onto the bed in his room. He kept staring at a letter from his daughter right before she was killed in Iraq.
