When in Doubt, Go To A Different Region

So I am in the pickup waiting for Cole to get his ass in so we can go. We had to go to the next region over because I didn't get to ride in the last region.

"Come on Cole!! We are gonna be late!" I yelled.

"I'm coming, check on Spurs and Danny." He yelled back.

We are bringing both Spurs and Danny, mostly cause Cole wants to be able to ride. Yeah I know. Cole got hurt so he shouldn't ride. Well Danny is a POA. 14 hands high. Appaloosa colors. Trail pony. Calm as can be. So yeah... Danny is perfect.

*four hours later*

*Cole's POV*

I looked over to see Selena sleeping. She looked so cute with her hair back and her head on her pillow she brought. I reached over and pulled the blanket up over her shoulders. I love her dark hair and dark eyes. She's been talking about dying her hair purple on the tips. I think she's beautiful with out it, but she says it looks a lot cooler. This was going to be a fun time. Only I have a surprise to make it better.

When we got to the fairgrounds, I shook her and told her to wake up.

"Hey. How long was I sleeping?" She asked

"About half the drive and that was four hours. So like two hours or so."

"Cool." She said as she stretched, "I was so warm.. That blanket I think I might just have to keep."

I laughed and said, "If you win, you can have it..."

"Aw Cole, that's not fair. I don't know anyone here, what their horses are like, or anything."

"You have two days before the actual show." He said, then we heard a bang. "But right now we better get those horses."

He got out of the truck and opened the trailer door.

"I'll take Danny you take Spurs."

"Alright fair enough... Hey Cole?" I asked

"Yeah?"

"Do y-y-you think w-w-we will have t-t-time to go on rides?" I stuttered out.

He laughed and said, "Yes Sel we will have time to go on rides."

I screamed and jumped up and down, slightly scaring Spurs, who jumped and dance along.

*a day later*

'No time for good byes.... He said.... As he faded away...'

I woke up to my alarm, signaling its time to get up.. Don't judge me, I can listen to Three Days Grace and be a country girl at the same time.

So I woke up and went to the barn and started brushing up Danny and Spurs, while listening to Get Out Alive..
