Harry was feeling Spur's legs. When he got to the cannon bone in the left fore he froze.

"What's wrong Harry?"

"I forgot were you wearing wraps or boots yesterday?"

"No why."

"He knocked his cannon bone."

"No no no no no no this is a dream his is not happening not Spur why Spur? This is not happening. I didn't notice him limping. If he knocked he would have been limping."

"He used to be a stallion remember. Stallions don't show pain because in the wild that would show weakness. Stallions don't want to be weak."

"Yeah I know but do you think he will recover? How will I win the nationals with no horse? I mean Scooter maybe could do it but he's the only other barrel horse on the farm."

"It might be ok but let's get the vet to look at it first before we say anything."

"Ok. Are we going to Nancy's?"
