I am on my way to the palace. And I have no idea what to expect. This will be the first,and possibly the last, time I will ever be attending a ball and I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I am practically shaking. I have also never been to the castle,so this is all new to me. As we come to a stop at the palace gates,I look through the window to my left and let a gasp escape my mouth.

It is absolutely beautiful. Especially with everything covered in a thick layer of snow.
"Wow,it's like something out of a story!"my friend says (you know what let's just call her friend... Samantha)
"Yes,it's pretty breathtaking." I comment.
"Are you ready?"she asks as the coachman opens the door.
"As ready as I'll ever be"I reply nervously.
We enter the ball and everything is already in full swing. There are people dancing gracefully to the soft,elegant,music the orchestra is playing. Everywhere I look,there are people with the most extravagant jewelry and clothing. I could easily spot the Blanks in the crowd,since they were in a small group of to the far side of the ballroom fearing to interact with the Marked.(aka me at every ,social gathering). I lean in to Samantha's ear and whisper "What are we supposed to do now?".
"Umm,I don't know I've never been to one of these before"she whispers back.
Both of us make our way through the ballroom with people shooting us glares,because they know we are not supposed to be here. We finally make our way to the Blanks when the sound of trumpets fills the room.
"And now,introducing the royal family!"
Everyone stands awaiting,and then we see them.
