"Stop! Please!" Begged Kimiko, tears flowing down her face as she watched the man torture her little sister in many ways.

The man ignored both their cries and continued his cruel experiments on the child despite her screams.

"Akira! You're late!" Yelled both Sakura and Naruto at the same time, pointing an accusing finger at the white haired girl. Akira only stared with a bored eye at the duo.

"Sorry. I overslept," she casually said, sending a nod which said 'good morning' to Sasuke to which he returned.

Things between the group had been resolved, her secret was no longer a secret. Her team accepted her fully after realizing that she was still Akira. And so after a few more questions about ghouls, they became aware of what being a ghoul meant.

"Hey guys, good morning, sorry I'm late. I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life," said Kakashi with a sheepish smile under his mask, making the whole team mentally roll heir eyes.

"Huh?!" Yelled out Naruto and Sakura, this has been the most sorry excuse used by Kakashi by far, even worse than "Sorry, I was helping an old lady cross the street"

"I'm ready for the next ninja mission sensei! No more of these dumb beginners stuff, okay?! I want a chance to prove myself, I'm talking about a real mission where I can show what I'm made of, I gotta go and break it up! See!!!" Exclaimed Naruto with fire burning in his eyes making Akira wonder what got him so fired up.

"uh, right I get it. That's great Naruto, now take it easy would you?" Kakashi said with a sweatdrop, practically feeling his passion.

Meanwhile Akira could sense the tension between the blonde knucklehead and the Uchiha, it was unsettling in a way. Did something happen on their mission? Questioned Akira but decided not to bring it up and ask Kakashi later.

"BELIEVE IT!" screamed Naruto all of a sudden, startling their group.

He's definitely acting strange.

"Let us know when you're done fantasizing Naruto so that we can start the mission alright?" Said Kakashi, bored out of his mind.

"Right"

"Could you not be so annoying Naruto just for once?" asked Sakura which made Akira roll her eye at how much of a hypocrite she was at times.

"Alright well let's just get on with these missions," sighed Akira, knowing fully well that today was going to be a day full of competition between the two egotistical boys.

"I'm so hungry," complained Akira, she whispered so that nobody would hear her but of course the knucklehead has to hear.

"You're hungry?! Me too! Let's go eat something!" Said Naruto, grabbing Akira's wrist to pull her to Ichiraku Ramen, but she didn't budge.

"Naruto, we're supposed to be on a mission," She said, looking down at Naruto's hand which still held hers tightly, "Besides, you know I can't just eat whatever I want," Akira said which made Naruto pause for a second before he went back to tugging her along.

She looked down at Naruto's hand, specifically his flesh. She could suddenly feel all of his blood rushing through his veins, she could feel his pulse and she tightened her grip on his hand. She felt her kakugan (red eye) begin to take over in her right eye.

You need to eat something, now.

"You okay Aki?" Asked Naruto, looking at the girl, concerned for not only her but his hand which was now turning a bit red.
