Chapter 16 - leaving

Damian's POV:

I woke up with Madison next to me... Then I remember the events of yesterday and me saving Madison and that woman.

I get out of the bed careful not to wake up Madison.

When I'm eating breakfast she comes down stairs.

"Umm I'm gonna leave and go home now." She says.

"Oh no way your not going anywhere!" I say simply.

"What do you mean I'm not going anywhere I have to go see my hmm I have to go home!" She protests looking close to tears.

"It's ok!" I say rubbing her shoulder comfortingly, she flinches away.

"No it's not I want to know if my mums ok and who that woman was." I sit in silence.

"Damian I'm begging you please take me to see my mum!"

"I can't Maddie..." She pouts and stomps up to her room.

Stephan's POV:

Damian told me I should check up on Madison's mum... I was a little confused but he explained everything to me.

When I get to her house the door is locked but thanks to my vampire strength I manage to get it open... I see Madison's mum tied to a chair.

"Keely?" I say hurriedly untying her and taking the gag out her mouth.

"Look Stephan I don't know how much time I have till she comes back... I need you to look after Madison she's powerful please protect her..." She gasps.

"How about I help you first!" I say pushing her out of the door, she turns around confused.

"I want you to run and I want you to keep running and never look back I promise me an Damian will protect Madison with our lives."

There are tears welling up in her eyes, she takes of her necklace and hands me.

"Give this to Madison, I'll be in touch as soon as I can... If u can!" She says backing away.
