Chapter 14 - Apologies

Damian's POV:

Why did Elijah have to say Madison left I'm going to pay him a visit.

Thank goodness for vampire speed I wouldn't look very cool visiting him on a bus.

I grab his neck and slam him up against a wall.

"Why did you say Madison left mystic falls why would you lie!!" I growl.

"Well hello to you to!" He prying my vice like grip from his throat.

"I didn't lie about anything I told you what I knew!"He pushes me away from him.

"Well what you knew was a lie and if you lie to me again I'll-"

He cuts me off.

"You'll what? kill me... like you do with all your other problems like you did with Madison's dad! Go on give it your best shot... Your not getting rid of me that easy unlike your other problems I can't die!"

He speeds away leaving me a little shell shocked... he may not be able to die but he's going to pay.

Madison's POV:

Note to self never trust the people in mystic falls.

I sigh as I open the door.

"Thanks for letting me in..." Stephan says.

I don't really know how to feel, in a sense I with I never set foot in mystic falls yet I just can't bring myself to leave... It's like I belong here.

"You do!" He says.

Ha?

"I'm sorry what?" I ask, I'm not even supposed to be talking to him.

"You belong in mystic falls Maddie I know you do..." He says.

"How do you know what I was thinking?" I ask worriedly.

"I'm a vampire too!"

No not Stephan anyone but him... I back away slightly.

"Is that right..." I say trying to cover up my fear by asking a sarcastic question.

"Yes I did just read your mind and you don't have to be scared I don't drink human blood." He reassures.

"What kind of vampire doesn't drink human blood?"

"Me." He reply's.

"Look Madison I know your upset with Damian."

Yeah no kidding!

"But I came to apologise for him is that ok?"

Well... No?

"If he doesn't have the balls to say sorry himself then I'm not forgiving him you didn't do anything wrong so I don't see why you should apologise!"

There's an awkward silence.

"I think you should go." I say, he nods slightly and leaves.

Keelys POV:

"We will find you and take back what's rightfully ours."

"Over my dead body..." I protest.

"That can be arranged!" the voice says

"You will not take my daughter away from me!" I shout down the phone.

"We made a deal, she is the key to saving-!" I cover my ears before I can hear the rest.

"Your wrong! you'll have to pry her from my cold dead hands! You'll never take my baby away from me!" I scream.

"Very well if you won't give her to us well just have to take her ourselves!"

The line goes dead... What have I done!
