After a lot of struggling, the masked man laughed and left you alone in the large room, your only company the dead bodies.
And that's when you realized. After only a mere few minutes, your bound wrists were set free as well as your legs. Something seemed too convenient about this. Despite this, you weren't going to give up your possible single chance of escape. You shot up, ignoring the shooting pain in your head. Looking around, you spotted the door. You jogged over, each footstep echoing in the darkness. On the door was a single yellow sticky note.
This is your first test. I suggest you find a way out. He hasn't been fed in a few days.
Confusion, then panic struck you.
And that's when you heard it. A deep growl came from the distance. Your breathing quickened. A loud screech rang in your ears. With that an ever closer scurrying could be heard. You ran away as best you could from whatever was after you. You knew for sure it was not friendly.
The scurrying stopped. You slowed down your breath and tried your best not to make a single noise. You backed up, pressing your back against the wall and felt around. You noticed it had become progressively colder. You knew you were indoors, but there was a subtle wind coming from somewhere around you.
Bingo.
You ran your hand along the wall until you reached an air vent. You weren't sure if you were big enough to fit, but you pried it open. The vent covering made a loud clang on the ground.
Shit.
The scurrying began again, growing ever closer. You squeezed into the large vent. Your breath caught in your throat when a large, spindly hand wrapped around your ankle and pulled you backwards, your head hitting the top of the vent. You grunted as the creature swung you around and slammed you against the ground. Hard. Your shoulders ached, as did your back. The breath in your lungs escaped from you and you struggled to catch your breath again, wheezing as your vision blurred. The creature stopped momentarily, so you felt around. As luck would have it, a decently sized rock was on the ground. You aimlessly threw it at your Attacker, the thing letting out a screech. With a boost of adrenaline, you got up and ran for the door. The monster came into light as it ran behind you. You were right back where you started.
You couldn't even begin to describe the horror you felt.
Its pale skin was wrinkled and loose. Its torso was thin, the rib cage sticking outwards. It had nothing on. The legs-- like a skeleton, and the feet were tiny and rotting. Its mouth was missing the jaw, loose pieces of skin and dried blood hanging. It had no eyes-- empty rotting sockets of bottomless black. It had no hair- simply a smooth head.
You wanted to scream-- nothing came out. Instead, the creature reached out and grabbed your neck. It pinned you to the wall. You couldn't breathe. You kicked it in the chest-- taken aback the creature dropped you. You ran to the door-- pounding and yelling with whatever energy you had left.
Outside, you heard laughter.
"What a dumb bitch. I left the door unlocked."
Anger replaced fear as you swung the door open and hurried out, slamming it. You were seething, but managed to calm down. The creature on the other side of the door was flailing about-- you could hear tables being flipped as it grew further away. You turned back around to be met with three men sitting on the staircase.
The first, a tall blonde with hair moved over slightly to the side and crystal blue eyes. He was dressed nicely, wearing rather expensive clothing. His face expressed disinterest in your situation. The next was the masked man. You stepped back and crossed your arms, once again fear stricken. You could tell he was smiling under his mask, as it moved upwards slightly as you looked at him. However, curiosity came over as you made eye contact with the last guy, wide-eyed. His shaggy chestnut hair was wild and rather all over the place. His orange goggles resting within his hair, his mouth mask just under his chin. His pale skin was ghostly, nearly grey. He wore an oversized oak brown hoodie and worn out jeans. He was looking quite intently at you. It was the guy from earlier- your captor.
You didn't know what to say. In fact, you didn't even know what to do. Your eyes shot around the narrow staircase-- a closed door with light peeking out from under it was at the top of the staircase.
"Going somewhere?" said the blonde.
You stuttered and tripped over your words, "W-well.."
The familiar boy stood up and towered over you. His breath was warm and heavy. You swallowed the saliva building in your mouth. You were again in a situation clueless as to what to do. The door opened at the top of the stairs.
A tall, slender figure was standing, arms crossed, peering down.

Hey, hope you guys enjoy this chapter! I worked hard on it. I felt like the story was getting dull and I wanted to add some pep. The idea for an action scene struck me. Don't worry-- you won't be the same helpless person you are at the moment. I believe in a strong lead character. However, you haven't gotten there yet.
Hopefully updates will be more frequent!
