Lucy p.o.v

"Zeref?" Master asked surprised. "He the reason the dragons left. He's slowly killing the one who want to co-exsist with humans" I said. "He been after me due to my newly developed power. He's afraid of my light and tried to stop me from making it here. My dragon Celest gave her life to make sure I made it" I said giving them just a summary of what happened.

"Lu-chan" Levy said stepping closer. Even though her huge stomach prevented her from giving me a soothing hug she simply placed a hand on my shoulder and gave it a light pat.

“I see” Master said stroking his beard in a calmly matter. I looked down to my guild mark and smiled a bit. I didn’t get a chance to sneak a peak at it when I first walked in. It was back to its light color and wasn’t dull. Master placed his hand over it and gave me a smile. “Welcome back my child” he said before leaving the group to go up to his office.

I turn to the others and smiled, “So how everyone been?” Roars of answers were shouted out to me as they all answered. Mira pulled me over to the bar before she began to make something. I couldn’t see what it was that she was making, so I turned around my back against the wooden bar. I came face to face with Natsu since I did this. He stood there with a smirk. An all too familiar smirk that bears a heavy burden on my mind. The first time he began to ignore me.

“Lucy! I have a job we could do just together” a very excited Dragon Slayer said. He pushed the paper at my face causing me to get a bit irritated. I grabbed the paper before spinning around to face the inside of the bar. “Wanted, mages to exterminate monsters that live in an old building. Building can be destroyed in the extermination. Willing to pay 12,000 jewels” I read off the paper.

 

“I see isn’t that the Marion request?” Mira asked overhearing the conversation. I lifted the paper down a bit to get a good look at her. “Yes” Natsu answered before I could say a single word. “It’ll be a good one to do. After all you won’t have to worry about Natsu destroying anything” she said smiling. “That is true” I muttered more to my self than to anyone. “Okay Natsu I think this is a good one” I said with a cheerful smile. He gave me a smirk that all ways seems to make my heart skip a beat.

 

I went home later that night and got a bag together for tomorrow. We planned to meet at the station and head off from there. Morning came quick and I couldn’t help but feel happy. I would be alone with Natsu away from peering eyes. I knew I was falling hard for him, but what’s not to love. Quickly I took a short bath and ate a small breakfast. Grabbing my bag I made my way out of my home and to the station.

 

What I found there is what caused my heart to break into a million pieces.

 

As I was about to turn the corner when I heard some hush noises. “Lisanna I don’t think this good ideal” Natsu voice came to me. “She won’t know a thing. On this mission just tell her. She’s the only one who doesn’t know and I don’t want things to get awkward between you to while you’re going out with me” she whispered. I turn the corner to see both of them quiet talking to turn there attention onto me. “What” I said barely above a whisper. Natsu rubbed the back of his head and gave me his all too familiar smirk. No please don’t give me that look! “I don’t fell well. Sorry I have to bail on you Natsu” I lied turning away and left them. “It obvious she had feelings for you” I could hear Lisanna say. “No why would she? Were just friends and I don’t like her like that” Natsu answered her with confusion in his voice.   I hung my head low walking home. I ignored everyone as they past by. I guess this is what a heart break feels like huh?

 

“So Lucy are you strong?” Natsu asked breaking the memory. I blinked a couple of times coming back from memory lane all the way to reality. “Of course” I snapped at him. “Then let’s have a fight” he said smirking. Even though I can’t mentally hurt him I can physically hurt him. “Yes” I said with a wicked smile as I stood up. I can inflict all of the pain he caused me three years ago.

“First Lucy needs to drink my new and approved Strawberry shake” Mira said catching my attention. I turn to her and saw a really delouse strawberry drink on the bar. I sat back down ignoring Natsu rants of having to wait for his fight. I grabbed the strip straw from in between my fingers and brought it to my dry lips. The yummy sweetness of the strawberry ran down my throat.

“This is the best strawberry shake ever” I said drooling a bit. It was like I was in heaven and I was being blessed to live with all strawberry products. “Of course it is. When you left I made it my job to make the best strawberry drink ever for you to try when you got back” Mira said. “It’s really good Mira. You know you should get a job as a chef” I said finishing the drink off.

“Well that means I’ll be here less. Nope I’m fine cooking food for my friends here at Fairy Tail” she said with an energetic attitude. “Are you two done” a now sulking Natsu said. I looked at Mira who gave me thumbs up. With a silent smile I raised my hands which glowed a bright color and punched Natsu. Not knowing that I would sneak attack him he went flying past everyone and broke through the walls landing outside. “Come on Dragneel! I don’t think I hit you that hard” I said with a teasing voice. The fight has just begun.
