Chapter 1- First day of school

Elena's P.O.V.

Today is the start of a new year. Today, with every 'are you ok?' I will respond with, "yes I'm fine" or "I'm ok". I mean I'm not the only one who lost their rock in this life. I just hope he's ready to take on today.Today will be a good day.

I put my journal down and got up to go downstairs. But on my way down the hallway I stopped and looked in my youngest brother Keytons room. I watch him fixing his hair and breathing really heavy. I walk in and sigh, "Keyton,are you ok." I say softly. He looks at me with his chocolate brown eyes. "Is it ok if I say no?" He says looking down. I go over to him and hug him. "It's going to be ok, we need to be strong for them." I say whilestroking his hair.

After a few moments he gets up and goes downstairs. 'I hope that he'll be ok today.' I sigh and walk down stairs.

Keyton's P.O.V.

After talking to Elena I go downstairs to see Aunt Jennah making toast. "Hey Keyton! You sleep ok?" She says with a smiley face. "I slept ok." I say slightly smilng back. She handd me my plate as Jeremy comes to me. "Hey Keyton,hows that cheating boyfriend; Tyler. Is cheating on me with Vicky Donavan, my bestfriend. I mean,how can he say that! Vicky is my bestfriend and is almost like my big sister. Why would they betray me like that.

"Jeremy. Why is it that every time we see each other you always have to start the conversation by asking mehow my 'cheating boyfriend' doing." I say putting quotes when i said 'cheating boyfriend'. He looks at me for a second then sighs, " I just... I see him do thungs with others that are not exactly friendly and- " My older sister Elena interupts us. "Hey Keyton, Bonnie's outside waiting for us. Lets go." She pulls me outside and I do see Bonnie waiting for us.

Beep Beep "C'mon lets go!" Bonnie yells laughing. We laugh too and get in. While the girls were talking I started to text Tyler.

Where are you going to be before class
Probably hanging out with Vicky in the front
Oh, ok I'm almost there!!!

I get off my phone and all of a sudden we screech to a halt. After, Bonnie turns to Elena to see if she's alright. I mean I understand that she was in a car accident and survived, it must be hard. She says its ok and we keep going towards the school.

We get to chool and I jump out of the car to look for Tyler and Vicky. I find them over by the dumpster and Tyler's arguing with Jeremy. As I jog closer I hear Jeremy say, "I dont know why your doing this, but stop before you break Keytons heart!" I see Tyler get mad; naturally, and Vicky looks, guilty why? I go over to them and say 'hey' and give Tyler a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey whats up now?" I sayto the both of them with my hands on my hips. They both look away and say "nothing."
"Ok well Tyler I have to get to class so I'll see you later?" I say hopefully. "Yeah, I will. I love you." He gives me a kiss on the lips. "I love you too, see you later." I hear the bell ring and go to my first class of this hellish day.
