first day.

Ariana's P.O.V

* BEEP BEEP*

Ugh. I turned over to turn off my alarm. 6:30. It's first day back at school and for some reason I can't wait. Probably because over the holidays I have been working on some new music that I can't wait to record in the studio at school.

I leave my bed and pick out my clothes. Black jeans, a white sweater from pink and my vans.
Next I tried to do my hair but just end up brushing it. As I am lazy af, I just put on mascara.

Muffin man : you ready in in the car waiting outside 😛

What! How could it be 8 already? I only just started getting ready.

Me: coming now got a surprise 😏

Quickly grab my phone and run down stairs. There were my parents eating breakfast.

"Morning Ariana, are you joining us for breakfast?"
"Morning Dad, sorry no Shawn is waiting outside so I am just going to take breakfast on the go. Any muffins?" I replied.

"Yes hunny just on the side there" mam told me.

Quickly I dash over, grabbing one for me and one for Shawn. Muffins are Shawn's favorite food. Infact I call him muffin man. Shawn is one off my best friends, just friends but everyone thinks that there is something going on between us. I have never liked him in that way. I don't think I have actually liked anyone in my school. Everyone is just a bit, how to describe them... not my type? I will go with that as I don't know how to explain. I mean Ethan Dolan is kinda cute but that is just a no go. My friends Beth and Lily are trying to convince me that I should be with Shawn because they think he likes me. 

"See you after school. Love you both" I call as running to Shawn's jeep.

"Ready for your surprise?" I ask, and show him the muffins.
"Ari, this is why I love you" he say and we both laugh.

Grayson P.O.V

For the first time I actually want to go to school. I want to actually try at school and get rid off this reputation. It's not great when the whole school knows that my dad left our family. That because of my dad my mam turned to alcohol for support. And for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to get involved with drugs. Life got so bad for us there we had to move away from New Jersey.
Now we live in Florida; I don't like it here even though we have lived here for 2 years. It just doesn't feel like home. 

At school I created a bit of a reputation for myself without meaning to. Because of social media everyone got to see about the drugs and the fact my dad left. This was the whole reason we moved to Florida, to get away from it. I deleted all my social media because I wanted to get away from it but people don't forget. They picked on me for ages and I wasn't going to have it. So I got into lots of fights which lead to my grades dropping and I have been suspended a couple of times. Mam and Cameron want me to be more like Ethan but it is hard.

So from today I want to change. No more fights. No more thinking about my past. No more thinking of my dad. A fresh start

"Wake up assclown" Ethan burst through the door.
"Good morning to you too" I sarcastically reply.
"Oh, your already dressed"
"Yep I need to be ready first to drive other wise you will drive and well you know... I don't need to repeat what happened last week do I?" I teased.

Last week we snuck out after Mam fell asleep. Sorry. No. Let me rephrase that, passed out from drinking too much. We were going to this party when Ethan scratched our car against a lamp-post. And mam still doesn't know.

Ethan picked up a pillow and through it at me. "Shut up bro, we can't let Cameron or mam here" he laughed.
At that very moment Cameron was walking past.
"You can't let me here what?" She questioned as she walk in.
Neither of us said anything. "Oh come on guys. Just cos I'm your big sis doesn't mean you need to keep secrets from me. You know I hate seeing mam like this too"
"Ok. Promise promise promise you won't tell" I ask
"Promise" We both look at Ethan.
"When we were sneaking out to a party I scratched mine and Grayson's car" Ethan confesses.
" *laughing* mam would kill the both of you" she ruffled his hair.
"

"We know" Ethan and I say together.
