CHAPTER 10

Taehyung POV
I was close to kissing Irene but not until someone. Or some people.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!" 

"YAH! KIM YERIM I'M SORRY! OW! OW! IT HURTS!"

I quickly opened my eyes and stood up straight, looking at the sky and cleared my throat. I look at Irene to see her flustered. She also was looking somewhere else.

"Oh unnie!"

"Are you alright?"

"That guy didn't do anything to you right?"
"We should've followed, so that guy didn't need to do anything."

The girls asked as soon as they had Irene in their arms.

"I'm alright. That boy confessed to me and tried to touch me. But good thing Taehyung was there." Irene told the girls and they all turned their heads towards me.

"How can we treat you?"

"Would you like something to eat?"

"Would you like to go somewhere as a thank you?"

"We really thank you that you protected Irene unnie."
The four girls said and bowed and I bowed back.

"Well, we can just go to the cafe." I rubbed my nape and they all agreed and the girls walked first.
I sighed to myself as Jungkook and Jimin put their arms around my shoulders and with the four hyungs standing in front of me.

"Tell us the whole story later." They said as we trailed behind the girls as the walk to the cafe.

Irene POV
I layed in bed and sighed.

'Bae Joohyun go to sleep!' I shouted to myself as I still remember what Taehyung was about to do when he saved me.
I shook my head and closed my eyes again. But all I see was taehyung leaning in and we almost kissed.
'What if me and Taehyung really kissed?'

I shook the thought away and closed my eyes again and sleep.

Taehyung POV
"So, I heard that kid talking to his friend in the restroom, saying that he will confess to "This Girl" and I was sure they were talking about Irene. So I followed him to the garden, and he had flowers. As he was waiting, It was Irene. I watched him confessed and the things he did to Irene, so I recorded so I send it to the principal so she can deal with that kid." I was explaining the story to the hyungs and Jungkook as we were sitting on the floor in the living room.

"So you alien, recorded first instead of protecting Irene?" Namjoon hyung asked as I nodded.

"You should've protected her first." Jin hyung said as he hit arm.

"Ow hyung. I did. Let me finish first. So after I recorded, sent to the principal, I went to punch that kid." I said and I started blushing.

"Eh? What did you next? Why are you blushing?" Jimin asked as he pushed me playfully.

"I told that kid to not touch what's mine. Only I can touch her. And yea." I mumbled and smiled sheepishly.

"Kim Taehyung said that! Wow!" Hobi hyung said, but he sad wow in english and clapped.

"I hugged her and comforted her and then the security came and took that kid away and the principal came. After talking to Irene she left. And- um-" I said as I keep blushing.

"Hyung what did you do? Why are you blushing?" Jungkook asked me and I laughed awkwardly.

"He probably kissed her or she kissed him." Yoongi hyung said and we all looked at him.
"What? But continue." Yoongi hyung nodded towards me and I laughed awkwardly again before I continued.

"Um, Suga hyung kind of got it right. I was about to kiss her. But not until we heard Yeri screaming your name and you screaming in pain." I said as I punched Jungkook's arm.

I looked at them as they all went "oooh" and had teasing faces since I told them I was about to kiss Irene.

"But I did kiss her forehead, nose and cheeks." I smiled sheepishly again and they all pushed me and punched me playfully.

"When did the playful Kim Taehyung become this manly huh?" Jimin asked and they continued punching me playfully.

I'm gonna get bruised soon or later.

The next day.

Irene POV
I groaned as I got up and turned off my alarm. I had a hard time sleeping last night. I was thinking about his kisses. His soft hugs that comforts me. I shook my thoughts away as I get up and get ready.

"Unnie, you sure nothing is going on between you and Taehyung?" Yeri asked as the five of us walked to school.

"Yes. Nothing happened. He just saved me that's all." I answered and avoided their stares.

"Hmmm, then why are you avoiding our stares?" Yeri squinted her eyes and gave me a you-are-suspicious look.

"Aniya. Oh look there's your boyfriend." I changed the topic, and nudged Yeri.

"OH HELL. HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND. He is ugly, stupid, mean, jerk, like WHAT." Yeri shouted as she stared straight at Jungkook.

"You're gonna soon like him." Joy teased.

"Right, they used to say, enemies become friends, and friends become lovers." Wendy laughed as she high-five with Joy.

"And plus, you're words might be different from your actions." Seulgi smirked and I just chuckled.

"Unnies! You guys are so mean!!! I will never like this bunny-teeth ug-"

"What are you saying?"

We turned to see Jungkook putting his arms around Yeri and Yeri was blushing, trying to escape Jungkook's grasp but Jungkook was holding her tight.

"Where do you think you're going huh? What did you say huh?"

"I said you're bunny looking teeth needs to go somewhere." Yeri said before flipping his arm making Jungkook screaming in pain. Taehyung and Jimin chuckled at Jungkook but Seulgi looked clueless.

"Well, Seulgi I'll bring you to class." Jimin put his arms on Seulgi's shoulder and I gave him a you-better-not-hurt-my-friend look and he gave me an okay sign.

"Um, Irene-ssi, should I bring you to class too?" Taehyung asked me and I looked at him but ending up to look away again.

"Uh sure. See you later Wenjoy!" I smiled and waved before awkwardly walking next to Taehyung.

"Do you want to go on a date with me?" Taehyung asked and I looked up at him.

"Why?"
