Dean's POV
We reach South Dakota in good time, Lia resting her head on my shoulder, Sam sprawled out in the backseat snoring.
I park the car in front of the house, and try and figure out how to move without waking the sleeping angel on my shoulder.
When suddenly the front door slams open and two gruff men step outside. This causes Lia to stir just enough that I can get out without disturbing her.
"Well boy, we aint seen your pretty mug in quite some time." Bobby says, hugging me.
Jeff turns to look in the car, "Who is th--"
"Shit." I think.
"That isn't Lia, I'm hallucinating, dreaming."
"What the hell you idjit?" Bobby asks, "Did you make sure it was her?"
I bite my lip sheepishly.
"Ah hell boy." Bobby says running inside probably to get his trusty holy water and blade.
I rolled my eyes as Jeff just kept muttering under his breath.
I find myself staring at Lia, she had to be real. She got out of hell without help. Lord knows I tried to get her out, I would give my own life for her, but no demon wanted to deal. They wanted her dead, no way they were getting rid of her. I had my theories on how she did it, mostly I just like to think she kicked demon ass, and crawled out herself. She is badass like that.
Bobby comes back outside with a handful of items, and he looks me right in the eyes with a look that just screams "Idjit."
"Can you wake her up?" He asks outloud.
"Uh. Sure." I say, and I kneel down and shake her shoulder just gently enough that her body slightly moves. She makes a groaning sound, and her eyes flutter open, and blink from the sun.
"Dean.." She whispers blissfully, and the sound of her voice breaks my heart.
"Umm, we are here sweetheart. Bobby and Jeff uhh...want to talk to you."
I see the confusion in her eyes, but I have to ignore it. Sam snores in the back, breaking the awkward silence. She gives me a slight nod, and I help her out of the car, my hands placed awkwardly on her hips. Which is weird, I shouldn't feel awkward holding on to her. I was about to marry her a year ago, and now touching her, even gently felt wrong.
As soon as she is standing straight, Bobby throws holy water on her face.
"Oh what the hell?" Lia asks coughing, I smile that's my girl.
"Sorry have to check darlin', people don't just crawl out of hell."
"Lia sweetheart." Jeff, knowing that it was really his daughter, envelopes her in a warm hug, but I see the confusion in her eyes as she returns the hug.
"So, where did you find her?" Bobby whispers to me, not wanting to disrupt the reunion of father and daughter, not seeing the signs that I saw.
"She was injured, hunting solo, we were there just in time." I say.
"She seems different." He points out, and I have to agree.
"How are you and Sammy?"
"We are good, haven't really discussed it much, with everything." I reply, a hint of sadness in my voice, I never wanted to talk about it with my brother, not with Lia back. She is first priority in my mind.
"Well wake up Sammy and let's get you three inside."

A Few Hours Later"Well damn it you damn idjit!" Bobby had me up aganist the wall with his eyes so full of rage and anger, I was even scared.
"I'm...sorry Bobby." I choke out.
"You really thought I wouldn't find out, you think I'm some idjit!" He yells again, and I wince back at his words.
"Look okay, I made a mistake, and everyone is paying for it."
"Well are you going to tell her?" He asks. "She deserves to know Dean."
"I might, it would be better if she didn't know." I say.
"She deserves to know." He spits.
"What do I need to know Dean?" Comes a soft voice.
"Lia..."
"Dean, tell me." I look into her eyes, and instantly regret it, they looked so soft and sad.
I never reply to her question, but I do kiss her, and even with Bobby standing right there still sulking with anger i understood, I walk her back to a guest bedroom, and spend a night tangled in the sheets.
I have a guilty feeling in my gut, but I know I will tell her, as soon as she needs to know. I mindlessly play with a few strands of Lia's hair as she sleeps peacefully, her warm breath sending shivers down my neck.
