Today's the day. The day I move to a new town. New friends, new house, new memories. I stood outside my, now sold, house. This house was the one I grew up in. The one I came home to after school. The one that held lots of memories for me. Looking around, I had realized things were there that I never noticed before. A crack in one of the roof tiles, a sold sign, and a somewhat large dent in the gutter. The paint on the wall was peeling, yet again. It had been peeling for quite some time, and every time we tried fixing it, it was always unsuccessful.
I didn't introduce myself properly. I am Alessia-Coronado, I'm 17, I'm from Seattle, and I'm moving to one of the biggest cities in the country. I don't know which one because there are so many. I heard about it, and I'm not so sure its a good thing. The town apparently has a history of strange occurrences. Last year alone, 12 people mysteriously disappeared. No one knows where they went or what happened to them. All they know is that they just up and vanished. I've heard one of the people there. Apparently, he has a bit of a dark past, and his family harbors a dark secret. One that I will never know. I heard my dad call for me to get in the car. I took one last quick peek at the house, then ran to the car. My sister, who is also my best friend, is named Sofia. She and I are extremely dysfunctional and our friendship/sistership is the weirdest out of my friendships with other people. I put my ear buds in my ears, get in the car, and whisper goodbye to the old house.

I saw that we had pulled into a driveway, so I looked up at it, only to be blown away. The house was beautiful.
I got out of the car, and heard Sofia yell, "DIBS ON THE BIGGEST BEDROOM!" I ran to get to the bedroom first with Sofia behind me, but she tripped over her own feet and tackled me. I groaned, getting up, then continued running to the room I wanted.
I got to the room and it had been setup because we sent the furniture beforehand. It was quite my style. Whoever decorated it has an amazing sense of style.
I was about to unpack when my dad came into my room.
"Alessia, can you take Sofia to town? She wants to explore," he asks, with a smile. I sighed, "Yeah, I guess so," I walked to the door and get my black Adidas on. Sofia was already at the door, waiting to leave.

We are downtown, and I finally learned the name of the town we moved to: Stillwater. I looked around and spotted a Hot Topic. Smiling, I watched Sofia run to the Hot Topic. I spotted a cute boy, who was tall and had the most amazing eyes. He spotted me and glared at me. What's his problem? I thought.
Jonah's POV
I was downtown when I see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She sees me and I glare at her because I didn't know what to do. She went into Hot Topic with a girl, maybe her sister? I mean, come on, they did look alike. I followed her to the only Hot Topic on this part of town. I spotted her by the 5 Seconds Of Summer section. She must like bands, which is a good thing because I do too. I sighed as she went to the hat section, because I was planning on getting a beanie. I saw a black and white beanie with a tassel ball on the tip, and picked it up. I saw her looking at me, this time however, I somewhat smiled at her.She smiled back, and it was beautiful. I watched as she came over to me.
"Hi!" she said, all happy.
"Hi, I'm Jonah," I introduced myself.
"I'm Alessia," she smiled, "I just moved here."
"Well, no wonder I've never seen you before!" I laughed quietly, "Umm, can I invite you and your sister to frozen yogurt?" I ask.
"Sure, let me ask her if she wants to pay for her stuff first," she excuses herself to pay for her sister's stuff.
