Jonah's POV
I woke up to see darkness still. I still got out of bed, so I could eat. Walking down the stairs, I looked out the window in the dining room. The sunrise was beautiful. It reminded me of Alessia. Why am I thinking of her? I brushed my thoughts away and started making my coffee. As I was waiting for it to finish being made, I stared at the sunset, thinking.
Did I really start to have feelings for Alessia? Either way if I did, she probably wouldn't like me back. I am never good enough for anyone. My last girlfriend said she loved me and left me for my supposed best friend. I haven't been able to completely trust girls, but Alessia is different. She gives me this vibe that you can trust her and you can be as honest as you want with her. I heard the coffee maker stop, so I made my coffee. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Corbyn, surprisingly. He's never up this early.
"Hey, bro! What are you doing up so early?" I asked, "Don't you need a nap first before you are ready to get up?" I chuckled. He glared at me, annoyed that I'm bringing that up again, but it's true. Daniel came walking down the stairs. He smiled and said hello way to enthusiastic for my taste right now.
"Zach is inexperienced when it comes to this topic, but there's this girl-" I start before I was interrupted.
"What?! Since when does Jonah Marais like someone?" Daniel asked, faking gasping.
I glared at Daniel, "May I continue?" He nodded, staying quiet.
"There's this girl-" I started before being interrupted again.
"Wait, is it Alessia?" Corbyn asked.
I sighed, before grabbing a frying pan from the cupboard, "If you don't shut up in the next 0.0000172 seconds, I will hit you upside the head with a frying pan." Daniel and Corbyn looked at me shocked.
"What are you looking at? I haven't had all my coffee yet," I snapped, "Anyway, yes, it is Alessia, but my question is how do I ask her out?"
"Well, you can invite us and her to the park, one of us will peel off and leave, and once its the two of you, then ask her," I heard Jack say as he came up behind us.
"Wow, you are really quiet sometimes. How do you sneak down here without being caught?" Daniel asks, shocked. Jack just shrugged.
They all turned to me, waiting for my input for the idea Jack recommended, "I like that idea, actually. How did you come up with that idea, Jack?"
"I just thought of something kind of romantic, but casual as well," he says.
"Okay, so we all know the plan?" I asked, wanting to make sure they knew because they are idiots sometimes. Somehow, they all nodded. Now, we got to tell Zach.
*time skip cuz idk how to add the telling Zach part and asking her cuz its just a simple text*
I sat at the park, enjoying the sun when it goes dark. Someone put their hands over their eyes.
"Guess who," I hear the voice say. A voice that I didn't want to hear ever again.
"Mia! What are you doing here?!" I exclaimed. Mia is my crazy ex, who I never liked, but she was pretty. She had definitely gotten uglier.
"What do you mean? We're still together?" She said, getting really touchy. I pushed her off me.
"Leave me alone! I never liked you!" I exclaimed.
"Then, why'd you date me?" She crossed her arms.
"I am a nice person and didn't want to break your heart, plus you're crazy," I said, out of breath.
She looks down, "I always thought you were the good guy, guess I was wrong."
Is she seriously trying to pull the pity card? I shook my head, knowing where this is going. I saw Alessia walk up, and smiled.
"Alessia!" I yelled, smiling.
"Who are you talking about?" Mia asked, suddenly mad.
"My girlfriend, Alessia, " I put my arm around Alessia's neck, " Play along with this, please." I whispered in her ear. She winked, a sign as a yes.
"Who's this, Jonah? " Alessia asks, playing along.
"An old friend, " I answer, smirking, "and she was just leaving."
Mia scampered off to who knows where, so I started walking away with Alessia.
"Jonah?" She asks.
"Hm?" I stare into space.
"I-i.. I think I like you.."To be continued..
