*The Blackbourne Team - Third Person*

Mr. Blackbourne cleared his throat, and the room fell silent, everyone turning to look at their team liaison. "I have accepted a mission on behalf of the team."

Eyes widened, and curses were mumbled, but the team ultimately held their tongues. Everyone knew they would be provided with an explanation, not to mention Owen was a reasonable person. He knew his team's strengths and weaknesses, he wouldn't throw them anything he didn't think they couldn't handle.

As the last of North's grumbling died away, Mr. Blackbourne spoke again. "We're tasked with infiltrating and taking down an underground fight ring, owned and managed by a man under the alias, 'The Black Phoenix'."

The team knew what this entailed. They'd have to go undercover as fighters, or at the very least spectators. This knowledge caused quite a few of them to stiffen, wincing or flinching at the idea of what's to come. People died in these things. There was a reason they were illegal. As Mr. Blackbourne opened his mouth to continue, Victor shot out of his seat, storming out of the dining room, fists clenched.

Confused looks were exchanged, then Kota was standing, ready to follow his brother out of the room.

"Let me," Dr. Green said, giving the group a strained smile. "Owen can brief me later." Without giving anyone time to protest, the doctor fled from the room, leaving the rest of his brothers thoroughly confused.

Owen made a mental note to check up on Victor later, and to have Sean fill him in on what was going on, then resumed the meeting. "It's said that the participants in these fights are there against their will, meaning they have to have some type of staff. I don't want any of you in there as fighters until we have a better idea of the situation, so until then, we will watch a few of these fights. North and Silas, once we have some basic understanding of their inner workings, it will be up to you to find a way to join the staff, and start setting up cameras..."

The meeting continued on, but neither Victor, nor Sean, returned.
