Odin's Circus 🎪

Chapter 3: The dolls

Idris woke up from her slumber and got ready for the day. She didn't notice the porcelain doll placed on her bed side table. Idris walked out into the circus tent and picked up a letter left on her office desk, it read "Knowing you, you wouldn't of  noticed my beautiful gift for you. Retrace your steps and find your gift.".  Idris walked into her room and saw theporcelain doll she picked it up and examined it "Val.." whispered Idris.

 "Everyone wake up know!" Shouted Idris, everyone stumbled into the circus tent. Idris stood in front of them holding the doll, a slightly frightened expression came onto everyone face. "As you probably guessed Val is back, I am just as scared as you." A few shadowed doll figures swarmed into the tent. Everyone turned to each other and ran for their lives, all except Idris. "Val, please come out. I missed you..." A tall figure came out of the shadows "Did you really miss me, sweets?" Idris nodded slowly. 

Val was a tall man with dark brown hair and blood shot eyes, he had a narrowed face. One of his feet resembled a dolls foot. He wore a dark black suit and a bright red tie matching his eyes. Idris ran up to Val and hugged him tight "I assume you came to help, right babe?" Idris asked, Val nodded. All the dolls that chased the others came back to Val. Idris clicked her fingers and the others ran back to her, "Everyone please make Val feel at home." They hesitated but listened to their orders.

Val walked into Idris office, Idris followed after him. The door slammed shut and locked itself. 

"Alright Val, what is the real reason your here?" 

"The police are after me again, i can't let them get to me or my dolls."

"I see, well i guess you can hide here, for old times sake."

"Thanks."

Val grabbed Idris and slowly kissed her. Idris missed the feeling of his sweet porcelain lips against her plump cherry lips. Her heart raced, Val grabbed one of her small daggers and pierced her skin. Idris screamed with enjoyment from the pain of her skin being slightly cut open. Val smirked and walked out of the office leaving Idris slightly bleeding in her office chair.

Val cursed under his breath when he saw Theo the magician in the distance. Theo walked over to him and grabbed his tie tightly. "What do you think your doing back here?" Theo yelled "I am here to help" stammered Val. Theo was the only person who could scare Val as he was one of the strongest magic users.
